No mention of being surgically powered down by Sinister for the purpose of better control of his enormous & dangerous powers. Example powers of Gambit at full potential: Like most energy manipulators, he has longevity; can level buildings with a single kinetically charged staff swing; healing factor; having a Superman-like solar flair power; etc.

Gambit has always been a badass Marvel favorite with an interesting origin story and with his being a French decent who has his last name being pronounced in several different ways is always funny knowing how many fans of character make a big deal about the pronunciation of his last name. But hearing that his movie will finally be coming to theaters next summer is really having me hoping that Channing Tatum and Marvel entertainment do not screw up his latest live action appearance all on his own.

At first I was confused on how kinetic energy can make things explode, but I think it is because he charges the particles with so much speed, it heats up and explodes. (For people with the same question)

BlueMask Pictures Actually there's a Gambit movie that has been in talks for about 4 years now. Channing Tatum has been attached to the project ever since but they keep pushing back the pre-production. The director has been changed 2 times also the script has been rewrited 5 times now. That's not a good thing...

If they would have kept Taylor Kitsch in the role for Gambit then we would have had a movie already. I honestly don't think Channing Tatum was a good choice for the role.
