Except he didn't, because Michael forgot to restore 1 Fortitude to himself near the top of the game. _Gerki didn't lose yet!_ . He gerked them all into thinking he lost, then stole all their coin.

Adam Borges Gerki Comes With Gambling and Cheating Cards aplenty as well as a lot of ignore drinks. When Michael says the Gerki is made of gambling he’s telling the truth.

I have this game, and I believe the cards that let you transfer alcohol content to your fortitude work differently. I believe that when you use the card, it let's you increase your fortitude not lower it. Say I was at 15 with my alcohol and 17 with my fortitude, it would only take a 2 alcohol or 2 fortitude to take me out, so if I just moved the fortitude instead of the alcohol it would be a pointless card. That's why I think the card actually means I can increase my fortitude, in the example I could go from 17 to a higher number (say a 2 alcohol card), it would take me to 19 fortitude increasing my odds of survival.
