Gamdias sent over quite a bit of kit for me to take a look at, and this video caps it all off with the Athena M2: an ATX Mid Tower with lots of airflow and great ARGB lighting... and a few small issues...

TEST METHODOLOGY:
CPU STRESS TEST: OCCT v. 5.5.3, OCCT test, Small Data Set, 30 minute run time, temps monitored via HWiNFO64 v 6.22-4060 (CPU CCD1). Test run three times, measurements taken as a difference of measured temperature and ambient temperature (Delta Temperature Over Ambient). Ambient temp. range: 17.2-17.6 C. Three test results averaged together, excessively variable test results tossed and re-done.
GPU Stress Test: Unigine Valley run on loop for 30 minutes, temperatures measured with HWiNFO64 v 6.22-4060 (GPU Temperature). Test run three times, measurements taken as a difference of measured temperature and ambient temperature (Delta Temperature Over Ambient). Ambient temp. range: 17.5-18 C. Three test results averaged together, excessively variable test results tossed and re-done.

Step Brothers reference, "thanks, I hate it", slowly grabbing the glass in the wide shot, #deadinside #hidingthepain, pretty colors, slowly peeling the plastic ASMR at the end (feelsgood.jpg). Great video, man. You kept me interested most of the time and your confidence in yourself sells it. I like the case, it looks pretty and it takes up less space. For someone like me, who might not need much space inside, it might not be a bad choice.

Cheers for the video, thinking about getting one of these for a PC I'm building for my niece. As point of interest, these Gamdias cases seem to be a lot cheaper in Aus, at my local they're $99aud and pc parts generally pick up around 40% in Aus vs USD.

The thing with their cases that's always annoyed me is they're so close to being really good for their price point, but they shift priority towards weird things and make compromises that make me sad. That said, at the right price they suddenly get a lot more attractive as a solid budget option! Hope the case works out for ya!

Thanks for the detailed honest review! Tell me, with the declared characteristics of up to 330 millimeters of a video card, can it accommodate a conditional RTX 2070SUPER Gaming Trio? And with the cooler declared up to 170 millimeters, can it accommodate the conditional Phanteks Ph-tc14pe?

The GPU is gonna be a bit tight and you likely won't be able to set a rad out front, but it should fit. That heatsink probably won't fit unless you're capable of shifting the fans down a smidge since with the fans it sits 1 mm taller than spec, and even then it'll be with paper thin spacing between the glass panel.

For what it’s worth I have a 3080 w a front rad. But I think skytech (prebuilt company) modified it somewhat because the psu shroud doesn’t run along the whole length of the case at the bottom to allow a front rad to fit, if that makes any sense

I got this case w my prebuilt (rtx 3080 and r9 3900x). If you’re staring at the rgb controller all the ports are used besides 2 on the right of the pcb. Can I hook up any non rgb fan? I want to add 2 fans on the top, as I have a 360mm rad w 3 fans in front and 1 exhaust.

So the thing with adding fans to the controller is they have to have a compatible connector. In this case the only fans that will fit those connectors are other Gamdias fans, which if I recall correctly are all currently RGB fans. This all assumes the system integrator you bought from is using the same fan controller, I can't speak to any other aftermarket solution they may nor may not have included in place of this one, but if it's a controller using a standard fan header connector then you should be able to use whatever fan you want.

Hey i recently bought this case and it has 8pin Fan connectors on the hub. I've bought the Single pack of the Gamdias Aeulos M2 fan which uses a molex connecter and i've been unable to find an adapter for molex to these 8 pin connections. Any idea where I can find them because I would like control my rear fan speed and RGB from the hub.

Sadly there isn't one: you'd need to specifically buy the fans that go to this controller, which sadly typically requires the purchase of a fan pack that also has another controller included with it. You'd otherwise have to know the pin out of the I-pin connector to custom make your own connector.

I don't believe my FinalMouse was the ergo model, had an ambi shape. That said I haven't had that mouse for some time now, wasn't really all that great IMHO. Guess that's sort of why they never spoke to me again after my videos... that and my videos were crap at the time lol. EDIT: huh, guess that was something of an Ergo shape. It's been a damn long time since I made that video lol. That being said if I see anything on that mouse any time soon I'll keep you in mind!

i have a motherboard MSI with mystic light, but don't work with this case ... help plis!

The instructions for the case, which you can find on the website, tell you how to sync lighting: hold the fan speed button for three seconds. If lighting sync still won't work I would open a support ticket with Gamdias and tell them exactly which motherboard you're using, the motherboard build revision if there's more than one version, the BIOS version you're using, the version of the MSI Mystic Light software you're using, your Operating System and patch you're on, and any other RGB-equipped devices you may have since all of those things paint a very clear picture of what's going on. It's possible lighting sync just may not work with your specific motherboard: I had that issue with my Fractal Design Celsius+ AIO's and my X470 Aorus board.

I've never used that Cooler Master case before, but you can go to the website for each product and look up the dimensions to compare them yourself :-)

Ok it costs 100$ in my country with 600W PSU does it worth it?

If it's at least an 80+ Gold PSU's then I'd say yeah that's not a bad price. 600W doesn't give you a lot of room to expand to higher tier hardware later on but if that's not the plan then that's a non-issue.
