I’m a 3D character Artist and I’m graduating this September, getting my Game Art B.S . My university major is Game Art and its really really great. I’m taught everything thats been mentioned in this video. I think its good for everyone who wants to get into Game Art to know that some of my peers from my university (Full Sail University - WinterPark FL) have bad portfolios and no understanding of art, they still have terrible topology and complain all the time. I went through the same classes and experience as those people but were worlds apart and its only because some people think that once they pay any amount or even get a scholarship they’re going to magically become the best artist ever. People don’t want to invest time and practice and want to get the skills out of thin air. People think their own taste in colors and styles is perfect and therefore never invest into art, never sketch, never look at references and create things that have no artistic value and blame the university or institution on not giving them magical powers. Also I know nothing about India but on an international level blender isn’t a good program for Game Art.

to anyone who is on the edge for Rahul Sir, I am one of his students from the origins batch and trust me the educators/Mentors are AMAZING, talented and most of all experienced in their field of work. meaning the info that you are getting is coming from experience not just bookish language.

What does pbr have to do with sculpting? It's just a way to render models using all kinds of maps that simulate light interaction with an object. Should be applicable to any 3d modelling discipline. Correct me if I'm wrong
