Personally I would really like to try Wario Land 1 and 2 because I like more following game franchises in order (that's mainly why I haven't played Wario Land 3 yet). Even though I already have access to Banjo Tooie via Rare Replay on both Xbox One and Xbox Series X, I would still really like to see Banjo Tooie on the Nintendo Switch Online service so I could play Banjo Tooie portably. Personally, I would be more interested in Donkey Kong 64 than the Donkey Kong Land franchise but at the same time I would also be interested in trying Donkey Kong Land to try more Donkey Kong games that I never played in my life.

I feel that we would need a separate app for the Pokémon games to be available. They clearly don't want Cloud Saves to be an option as people can easily sync their saves on multiple systems, trade, and keep duplicating their Pokémon. I think we would get an application that disables savestates and cloud backups, but would potentially have Pokémon Home support.

TCG is a great game that’s worth playing, don’t overlook it. I know that the fact that it’s a video game based on a card game based on a video game seems like putting a hat on a hat (which is part of the reason why I ignored it until the original DS was almost out), but it’s good enough to stand on its own and can help you get into the real thing. The rules of the actual TCG have expanded quite a bit since those days, but the foundation is the same.

You’re getting a garbage emulation job if your first experience with these games is through the switch online. You can’t transfer gen1 and gen2 mons so you’re stuck with rentals. You do not want to be stuck with rentals since it will be almost impossible to beat the game

@@dhay03 Probably former second party studios like Rare and business partners like Disney being less open for cooperation with NSO, meaning they had to slow down because they really don't have many first party games on N64. Beyond the announced games - Mario Party 3, Excitebike 64 and 1080 Snowboarding there are only DK64, Hey You Pikachu and Super Smash Bros which Nintendo can release without problems. Microsoft owns Banjo Tooie and Conker's Bad Fur Day as well as all tracks, music and characters from Diddy Kong Racing except Diddy and Krunch, Disney owns Star Wars and Disney stuff, Sport games have licences, car racers have licences... It's so slow because there basically is just one more wave for next year left and then the N64 is "done" - it might still get occasional releases but they have to bring GameCube and Wii on the Switch 2 for the service to stay exciting.

@@nismofunes IIRC Pokemon Stadium 1 on NSO supports online multiplayer with friends for mini-games and battles, it's just that battles are (currently?) restricted to the built-in Rental Pokemon. The same should be true for Stadium 2!

I really was hoping for at least one main line Pokémon game in NSO, not a single person would be against being able to play games from gen 1 to 3 and being able to add those to Pokémon home, it would be an absolute NSO seller too, specially since for the first time you'd have an easy time trading Pokémon around to fill up the for the Pokedex.

Man, the Pokemon TCG game was such an experience. From the music to the guy with the Tingle style gimp suit, to the gameplay itself. I legitimately loved that game as a kid, gimp suited weirdo and all. I think I beat it 2 or 3 times all the way through in under a month when I picked it up from Blockbuster on our weekly pass. I think it was just 2 weeks that we had it, but could have been more. Anyway! You kids these days please do give it a shot. It was a banger, a near hidden gem back in the day. Hidden because despite being a Pokemon game it's stock at the game stores in the US was pretty low.

@@ElectroBlastLuigi lol, i prefer zelda games actually it’s just the past couple of months besides the oracle games, the virtual console games they add are pretty hit or miss and half the time are ones the most people from the US haven’t heard of.
