Tamagotchi 3 is based on the Tamagotchi Osutchi and Mesutchi devices, male and female counterpart versions for people to meet up and connect them. This is why the text on the cartridge is both blue for Osu and pink for Mesu.

Boktai is a good example of extra features. It was a game that made you play outside and had the solar sensor that allows the game to determine what the weather while playing.

Just some notes: Pokémon Red and Blue don't have a RTC, just battery Backup. The Follow ups, Gold, Silver and Crystal, and Ruby, Saphire and Emerald all have RTCs. Pokémon Pinball RS for the GBA doesn't have rumble on the cart, it use the GameCube's Gameboy Player to rumble the GC controller 1. Lunar Knight (DS) is the only DS games to use the Boktai carts solar sensor in game. The game is playable without a Solar Sensor, it just boost certain the in-game solar meter.

Pokémon red and blue do not have RTC. That feature was introduced with gold and silver.

Pokemon Pinball was always in my GBC back in the day.

I think IR in second gen Pokemon games was just for the mystery gift feature.

There's a romhack for tilt n tumble that puts the d pad in replacement.

Koro koro puzzle and Command Master are two more fairly cheap gb tumor cartriges. you should pick them up. Kk puzzle is supposed to be pretty fun and command master looks just like kirby but transparent blue🤤

for this type of games with vibration, I use a flash EZ oremga DE and play ROMs patched to use the vibration engine that has this cartridge, I don't have much money and I know that the prices of the games have increased exponentially, that's why I only get games that have some interesting function (other than vibration) like Yoshi's universal gravitation or Wario Twisted

You should get Warioware twisted, the japanese version is very cheap, I got it boxed with manual for just 14€... you can get the cartridge alone for like 5 euros

There’s a bug in those Tamagotchi 3 games where the speaker will never go if played in modern consoles. You must use a Pocket, Pocket light or original GameBoy and the speaker will come up. Don’t forget to remove the battery for a minute while the switch being OFF. Place back the battery and play the game on a GB Pocket, switch off the console and switch the Cartridge to ON. Wait about 10 minutes and you’ll hear him scream.
