No, pour on the powder as soon as it comes off the printer.

What type of epson printer my epson 15000 will not pull it in to print can you tell me your setting

I have an Epson 7210 and did you see the trick to tape a piece of copy Appt to the DTF sheet so the printer will pull it through?

My ink smeared really bad as it when through the printer. Do you know what I could try?

I had to change the quality of print to normal. Don’t use fine or quality I found that it puts to much ink on the transfer sheet.

I have not had success on a black shirt. I did do a bright blue shirt and it looks good.

DO you think my epson F170 will work? withiout bleeding?

I would suggest testing it. I tested the different levels of print quality when I was working with it at first. I normally use fine or quality setting for sublimation but it puts too much ink on the paper and that’s what caused my smearing. I found using the normal setting worked the best. I would grab some scrap material and test it. I also found that the larger the image the better my transfer turned out.

@@FunstuffcraftsLisaWelander Make sense... reason I ask because there was this couple of times when I use this dark sublimation vinyl paper for dark materials and printed on the wrong side of the paper which is the vinyl part it just bleed all over and print setting was on high quality LOL. but of course im sure the DTF film material is probably different. I guess the only way to to find out is to test it.

1 question , after reading directions it says to bake it after you put the powder on, but you didn't. So you don't have to do that step?

So you don't have to preheat the dft sheet once you put the power on it

I did not. I have seen other people do that and I am not quite sure why. I did not. I pressed it on right after I shuck off excess powder.

@@thebeautifulcakes wowww sorry that happen to you, I did exactly how she explained it and mines came out great maybe use old shirt or something in print out a few small designs on my sheet in practice it take me a few times to get it how I wanted it

I have done a sweatshirt and it has been great in the wash! I have washed it at least 10 times and it still looks brand new. I have also put it in the dryer!

Do you think the DTF matters? I have used a couple of different ones and I am not seeing the quality like yours. Seeing your DTF I can really tell the glossy from the matte side. It is so hard with the one I am using.

I have done it both ways. I have a lessons learned tutorial that I use the cure method because if was recommended. You press the image for less time when you cure it. Here is a link to that tutorial. Yes, I use sublimation ink with the dtf powder and dtf sheets. In fact I have a lessons learned video coming on the week in using sublimation ink with DTF.

This does not work… I went from 400 / 60 seconds to 385 / 40 seconds to 300 / 20 seconds to 320 /50 seconds and I peeled cold. This came off at different areas just looks horrible. I have a epson 2720

I am sorry to hear that you did not have success. I have a second tutorial that uses a little different method that might work for you. In that video I am using a different brand of powder and paper.
