Same! It was on insta too, it emerged in summer 2020, i discovered it then and am happy ever since to rock winged and graphic eye liners. :) The only downside os that colors brighter than black show the hood crease wrinkle more than black, that's unfortunate but not to change with hooded eyes without surgery, that's as far as the illusion can take us ✨

Legit, I watch hooded eye tutorials and I'm like, I'm pretty sure those aren't hooded eyes, if they are mine are VERY hooded 🤪.

My eyes are just like yours! Finally someone shows how to do eyeliner on real(!!) hooded eyes! All other youtubers have just a little bit of a hood so their videos are not helpful at all. Thanks so much!

If someone's eyes aren't that much hooded it doesn't mean they don't have "real" hooded eyes. You can have hooded eyes that completely cover the eyelid or just most of it

I like the geometric look. It’s an awesome trick. Instead of worrying that hooded lids keep us from wearing the typical extended line look at the awesome visual effect this has that you couldn’t do WITHOUT hooded lids. Stephanie I say you give us more looks that you can only wear on hooded lids. 👍🤗

GIRL GIRL GIRLLLLL!! OMGoshhhhhh! I'm 26 and was never able to have winged eyeliner till I found this video like a month ago. I have super hooded eyes and have tried soooooo many diff. Tutorials and this is the ONLY one that not only gave me winged eyeliner but I swear it makes my eyes look bigger! Lol thankyou so much! I really appreciate it considering I loveee doing makeup this totally stepped my game up! Took me about 7 times of re watching this to perfect it! So worth it!

I'm a lot older than you, and my hoods are even heavier now because of my age. But inspired by Korean MUAs, I've been focusing more on my LOWER lid space, and doing a thicker band of color aimed out to the end of my eyebrow. It's the only way I can get out from under the hood flap (yes, flap) these days. I don't use dark shades, but rather take a contouring approach, minimizing the hoods, lengthening my eyes and opening them up.

OMG! This could actually change my life. I have hooded eyes, and no technique has ever worked; I always end up looking like a panda or Harley Quinn after crying whenever I try doing a winged line, so I basically gave up on this look. So this is just a.must try for me!

Ik it's like a graphic liner natural to our own shape and i love it. I also just go across the lid, just with a more extended and horizontal wing for larger eyes effect.

This is exactly how I do my eyes! Sometimes I color it all the way to the inner corner, because my eyes are even more hooded and I’d like the eyeliner to show on my lids as well (other wise you could only see the wing)

This is fascinating! As an artist, I can see just what you're going for - I'd love to see it feathered out with blended eye shadow. As I'm over 65 but do full makeup every day, I can also see that I'd have to make some changes for myself - however, this is a good jumping off point. Thanks for the inspiration!

Once I made myself such winged eyeliner when I was doing makeup for a photo on a driver's license. I wanted them to be seen, so that they were real winged eyeliner)) It was an artistic search - I just looked in the mirror and drew on the face what I wanted to be drawn.

Thats a great look for a much younger lady, I'm 57 and my hood falls all the way down to my lower lash on the outer eye.(this came with aging and everything went south!) I may try this but with go with perhaps a dark eyeshadow and blend towards the end. Lovely color on you.

Yes, definitely use a pencil liner for this and then blend it out with some darker eyeshadow, it will look beautiful!

Its a really cool method and I'm surprised because I've never seen this technique before however I think people with hooded eyes should make the winged liner more outwards because it elongates the eye shape and i dont think taking the liner all the way to the inner corner of the eye is great because there isn't much space there, I don't know if that's just my preference or true but give this a try too guys x

Yeah, exactly what I was thinking. This looks good and all don't get me wrong, but then there's not enough space for eyeshadow. We already have such limited eye space so Ig doing this takes it all 🥲

BIIIIIITCH omg I'm super excited to have found this channel...I have extremely, super duper hooded eyes and very small eyelids, so similar to you....I tell you, hardly anyone has eyes like me, I'm so excited. I cannot even explain it in text. Thank you so much for making these types of videos.

@@stephanieholiday There are so many videos titled "for hooded eyes" and they barely have hooded eyes, or they don't actually do have them. I totally understand, that is why I started a channel too! But I'm still new to makeup, I found a youtuber named Annette's Makeup Corner and that's how I realized I can actually do eyeshadow lol

@@stephanieholiday first time was a disaster but I have a cheap liquid liner and I'm super shaky I'm going to re watch the second video and try again tomorrow with a pencil.

@@wendyvoye3110 Oh no! It definitely took me a few tries to perfect it especially since before this technique, I just never wore liner so I was not used to it. But definitely keep practicing and you will definitely get the results you want 🤗
