I grew up going to Flea Land in Bowling Green and my grandparents always sat up there and went to auctions there when I was little and today I’ve bought so many SNES, NES, Genesis games there along with Nintendo Power magazines since 2015.

Same! It's where I started collecting retro games! Back in the day, it was the only place that consistently had NES, SNES, and N64 stuff in the area.

@@Nintendrew I need to make a return back there someday and continuing hunting down more retro games. I got Donkey Kong Country there back on August 25, 2012 after the last one I had quit working and later got StarFox and Gex. I’m currently hunting down the cult classic games like Conker’s Bad Fur Day for the N64 and Kirby’s Dream Land 3 for the SNES since I currently play it on the Switch.

Craiglist in the early 2000's was the spot. Everybody was getting rid of their 8 and 16 bit games, it was like they were desperate to get rid of them. I was buying wholesale for like 3$ a game. Built my collection in that era. 10 years later they are super collectible and everyone wants to buy them back lol. Yard sales can still be great even to this day. Swap meets out here in CA are mostly dealers that have fair but marketable prices.

Have to admit, when you all went to store five I figured it was to Game Trader in Madison, not Great Escape on Charlot Ave. Hmm, could have also hit up McKays as well (it's just down I40 towards Memphis and only a few miles away)

I used to go to Game Trader, but their staff was really sketchy when TN had a mask mandate during COVID. 😬 Their prices are always hiked, too. But McKay's I'd definitely like to check out again soon!

Hey drew next time your in Tennessee there's a store I highly recommend, it's called 2 dudes gaming. I bought a complete box copy of Mario Party 5 for about $60 it was $90 but they gave me a discount because it was a used game

Oh man, Rockem Sockem Robots for the GB Advance had me feeling like a kid again! That will be my next game to hunt for on my list for the GB Advance! Also NintenDrew you beat Jon as you had only 9 games that added to that amount where Jon had 10 games. In the future you may have to purchase 10 games each to see who really comes out on top! But that is just the math nerd in me. Now back to my Nintendo Game all ready in progress!
