The Red Woman. The Red Priestess. The Skarlet Witch. She is by far the most enigmatic character of GoT, everything about her is shrouded with mystery. The House of The Dragon better bring her character back, we’re owed an in-depth focus on her life, her origins, her beginning, her deepest and darkest secrets. Lady Melisandre of Asshai’i is such a mesmerizing mystery.

How would they fit her into that. With the exception of dragons there's little focus on magic this time. A series about Essos or Valyria would be more appropriate for telling her story.

To think that she was alive in the events of the dance is Crazy, Man... I always think about It. Even the fact that she was only a kid at that time dont make It any boring.

They shouldn't do that. She's representative of the advent of monotheism in the ancient world starting with Zoroastrianism and ending with Islam and Christianity (as the major ones) and their introduction of lines of thought in pondering the unspeakable that were alien to many people at their respective introductions. The mystery behind her adds to the significance and if it were infringed on, that would defeat the entire premise of her theology and seemingly enlightened followers of it.

Her god and the many faced one are the only ones who made such a scary presence in the series.. Bring people from the dead, change their faces, unkillable.. Magic Truly interesting entities.. Wish they'd dwell more into them than they did.

Even after the show, I always found Melisandre’s character to be so Ethereal and Mysterious, her themes and red aesthetic just work so well imo- even tho what happened with Shireen happened, she’s still one of my favorite asoiaf characters
