Dan & David what the actual fuck were you thinking during the Bran scene?

"Fighting inst really their forte" but their army was one of the best in Westeros because they suffered little in the war of the five kings. It would have been easier to just say that the army was on its way to King's Landing for the siege and that's why Highgarden was undefended.

I really love how the Queen of Thorns gets the best of both Jamie and Cerci right after she drinks the poison. Jamie went out of the way to make sure she didn't suffer like Cerci wanted her to. She really gets the last FU moment! Gotta love it!

Lady Olenna lived like a boss and died like a boss

Going into season 7, I though Cersei's team was the least likely to fare well in the upcoming war, but she (thanks to Euron) is doing extremely well so far. I think danaerys really needed to get her ass handed to her a little bit, just to realize she's NOT the absolute power in the war, and that things ARE getting real, she needed to lose a little bit especially to make her team up with Jon.

It all went so fast, the unsullied taking Casterly Rock and Jaime taking Highgarden and killing Olenna in just a few minutes, I mean this is GoT, not some rushed war movie. Meaning no offense, GoT still dope af 👀

Can someone explain to me how the Tyrell's lost highgarden? They have one of the largest army out of all seven of the kingdoms, yet somehow Jamie managed to capture it with no siege weaponry and what looks like about 8000 maybe 10000 men at best, even with Randall tarly one of the greatest war generals alive on Jamie's side the only way they could have won is if they managed to stop all the other houses in the reach helping the Tyrell's and even if they manage this and somehow kept the attack secret there would still be at least a few thousand men in highgarden to defend it and it would have taken weeks or months to take the castle. So I'm not quite sure how the battle was lost so fast, maybe if we would have seen the battle we would know :/

So, the siege at Highgarden took how much time exactly?? Because in the show it looked like it was just an afternoon! even with a notorious for "not being good at fight" house, they have a f*cking castle to hide behind the walls for god's sake! It wouldn't be any hard to put some line in the Jaime and Olenna conversation that implies the time they took to take the castle! TBH in the last two episodes, the Tyrells, Martells, and Greyjoys defeats, all seemed cheap resolutions to get the war balanced towards Cersei's side.

Sorry, but can someone explain to me how the iron fleet managed to reach Casterly rock. Grey worm left for the rock in episode 2, Euron had enough time to defeat his niece in a sea battle, go back to king's landing then go ALL the way back to the other side of Westeros and THEN trap the unsullied.

The way they portrayed the siege of Casterly Rock as well as the siege of Highgarden is an unforgivable story telling crime, each siege should have taken 2 episodes each, I cannot wait until TWoW comes out and we hopefully see these sieges done literary justice, there is no reason that either of these castles should be taken so easily, even with the Tarly's forces, taking Highgarden or Casterly Rock would be a hard fought, and very bloody battle...

Oh yeah the Tyrell forces are awful warriors, they didn't win the battle of the Blackwater and Loras definitely wasn't known as a great knight..... oh wait...... Did the showrunners forget what they established in their own show? or that the books exist?

Why not just up the budget this season so we could have had more episodes so it wasn't rushed or add another season round it up to 10 but have 6, 5, 4 episodes a season or season 10 could have been a 2 hour movie. It feels like we had tons of setup and now they are just rushing to the finish. They could have still had 10 episode and just less action scenes for more development and filler so people aren't teleporting about, even with this episode cut there hasn't been that much action which I thought was the whole idea of it.

Lannisters have won their battle agaist Tyrells but Lady Ollena is still 10 times winner in telling Jaime that she was the one who took Jaime's first born son! This is the most memorable scene for me this season.

This whole writing out of House Tyrell and Olenna was so poorly written. Even though I must give credit to Olenna's last scene, that was amazing. But let's not jump to the end: 1). Why would House Tarly and other Reach bannermen betray House Tyrell? Lannisters are bankrupt, they have a mediocore army, and most importantly a war of four fronts. I repeat, a War of Four Fronts. Let me quote from a TV show of the '90s: "Only a fool would wage war on two fronts. Only the heir to the throne of fools would wage war on twelve." Even if we do not count in the fact that Tarlys are loyal, why would they betray the winning side of a war? Yes, right now Dany is no longer on the winning side thanks to your power balancing, but at the time of the betrayal she was. That just does not make any sense. 2.) Euron is everywhere. 3.) House Tyrell is the richest family in the Seven Kingdoms. They have the most resources, the most money and the biggest army on the continent. Highgarden was promised to be one of the most beautiful, greatest and strongest castles in the Seven Kingdoms. Yet you gave us "Lowgarden". You literally just took a photo Castillo de Almodóvar del Río and photoshoped a forrest around it. No joking, that is what you have done! This is tremendously dissapointing! At least if you don't give us a proper battle, you should have made Highgarden glorious... And that is where we get to the next point. 4.) The Lannister Army is almost entirely made up from infrantry. Limited cavalary and no supply, no sieging weapons, nothing. They could not even build a tent if they wanted to, but of course they did not want it because they took "Highgarden" in what? Half a day? At most? I get it, you are saving money, but for heaven's sake why do you rush as well? It should have took much more time, even with the Reach - absurdly - betraying House Tyrell... During the Siege of Riverrun, Jaime was preparing for months of battle. And it was - or supposed to be - a smaller, weaker stronghold than Highgarden...

On one hand, there's Indira Verma who made that prisoner scene so damn intense. And on the other hand, there's Emilia Clarke who barely can act and delivers her dialogues like she is reading in front of a class.

They made Highgarden, what was supposed to be one of the most epic castles in the region, look like a derelect fort on a hill. Couldve spent the extra CGI on that and Casterly Rock to make them look as impressive as GRRM wanted them to be

I hope D&D someday address how characters are able to travel fast to different places in Westeros...
