This episode was so dark even Night King's guards didn't see Arya coming

Dany spent like 3 seasons trying to bring the Dothraki over to Westeros and they get wiped out in seconds.

Honestly I wasn't expecting the Night King be defeated that "soon" in the final season.

No one needed to die. Just leave Bran alone in Winterfell and Arya to sneak up and kill the Night King. 8 Seasons of build up that amounts to nothing.

I'm so proud of the Hound, one look at Arya in trouble and he completely stopped caring about all the fire and went to save her.

Well, we now know the producers DEFINITELY did not consult with a military strategist for this episode, or, they just wished, yet again, to make it abundantly clear just how dumb Jon Snow really is. The commander who doesn't command...

Here are 20 Questions to anyone who thought this was a great episode.... 1. If The Night King knew where Bran was, why didn't he just fly over to him with Vicerion and burn Bran, the Greyjoys and the weir wood tree all where they stood. There wasn't a damn thing anyone could do to stop him. 2. Since when does the CALVARY go first? Why were they not using the Trebuchets and archers first, like every single battle in the history of the world? 3. Why was Ghost with Jorah and the Dothraki? He doesn't know them. Why wasn't he with Sansa Stark in the crypts? 4. Why didn't they use the same strategy on the wight army that they did against the Lannisters by using Dragons to pave a path through and Dothraki penetrating to finish off? 5. What was the point of the Trebuchets and Catapults? 6. Jorah was on the front line of Dothraki, so how exactly did he survive and the 50 lines of Dothraki behind him didn't? 7. Why did they cast World World Z zombies in place of the Wights? If the Wights could move that fast, why didn't they do so as soon as the Wall went down last season? 8. So are we going to ignore 40 thousand Dothraki (special forces) die in 40 secs, but Sam (Librarian) survives over 40 mins in an open courtyard even after being dog piled by same wights? 9. Why was Sam outside fighting anyway? Didn't he promise to never leave Gilly alone again? He easily could have been heroic protecting the ppl in the crypt against the resurrected Starks. 10. Where the hell did Jorah come from to save Dany? Remember he was on the other side of the wights. Dany used Drogon to clear a path for Jon to get through. She didn't do that for Jorah, so how'd he get there? 11: I love Davos, but he said he's no use with a sword... so How did he survive? 12. Why were the wights so slow in the Stark Library scene with Arya? They were running like World War Z zombies previously, so why wouldn't they just run through that Library destroying everything in their Path? Why the delicate movements? 13. As Badass as Lyanna Mormont's death was... why exactly did the wight Giant hold her that close to his eye? Her arms were too short to be able to reach him if he just held her up. Was he near sighted? Even better, do wight's even care? 14. Why did the Night King smile? Since when did he have emotions? Wouldn't he have smiled back in HARDHOME as well? Imagine a SNAKE or Crocodile smiling. Silly isn't it? 15. How was Jon able to survive Vicerion's flame hiding behind a short wall and small pile of rumble? Remember Vicerion just took down half of Winterfell's exterior walls and he was the one that to out THE GREAT WALL. 16. What was the point of the WHITE WALKERS? 17. Why didn't Arya turn into a White Walker when the Night King grabbed her flesh? 18. Where did Arya Leap from? Also why was she screaming on the leap? Wasn't the whole point to surprise attack? 19. Why did Jon Yell at Vicerion? Was he just hoping to die? It really makes no sense. 20. Why does anyone care about the "Next Battle." Seriously, there is no need for any more armies, fleets or even Dragons. They have Arya. She beat the NK without even wearing a face, so how does Cersei stand a chance against Arya with her faces? How hard would it be for Arya to go to King's Landing, get Qyburn's face and then see Ceresi face to face? Game over, no?

There are more important character deaths in the Battle of Hogwarts than at the Battle of Winterfell. Sick.

Too many Deus Ex Machinas handed out to the main characters. I stinks of bad writing and typical Hollywood. I have come to expect more from GoT. Also i read in the comments that the Night King got "Snoke"-ed and that sums it up perfectly.

My favorite moment was when the Night King immediately snapped Arya's neck...oh wait. 😒

Are we just going to ignore how dark the whole show was? I waited 8 seasons for this battle and couldn't see half of it, and they never answered to any rational level in the show why the night king who never exposed himself in battle before, suddenly decides to walk through the middle of one just to kill Bran himself. What would that have done that a white walker killing him wouldn't also have done?

When Sansa pulled out the dagger and her and Tyrion were looking at each other all emotionally I legit thought she was going to kill herself.

I love the Starks. They have the best lines. "Not today." "I am iron man." what a crazy week for them.

I´d be very curious where bran went when he turned into a raven during the battle...

I cheered when the Dothraki got their fireswords thinking they'll be lighting up the dark episode to come till the end. My happiness was short lived. Couldn't see shit. Thank God for dragons and Melisandre.🙃

Wow! What an episode! I haven't seen anything that satisfying since the LOST series finale.

Easily the worst episode of the series. Did something I thought was not possible: made me lose interest in how it ends. Unbelievable!

This episode was truly dark and full of terrors. Luckily, there's Melisandre, increasing our TV brightness for the 1st 20 minutes of the show.

So Jon Snow’s purpose in GoT is to be saved by women. Mel brought him to life. Sansa brings in the vale during BoB, Dany saves him twice now, and tada!! Arya kills NK. Yeah ok.

5:56 false. The undead didn't tunnel in. The dead bodies in the crypt were raised by the night king. Serves them right for hiding in a crypt while fighting the undead.
