It's not that Rise of the Ronin looks "bad", the graphics just look very much like they were designed for PS3 or something - they're very dated. Graphics aren't everything (Minecraft made do with pixel blocks and it's an amazing game), but this game is clearly going for the next gen style and not quite hitting it which is why it looks so jarring to many of us, it just looks like an old game and it hasn't come out yet.

Kojimas next game, Physint, is almost undoubtedly a small game as he says it's a blend of a movie and a game, so no way will it be a 20 hour experience. Guaranteed this is a 4 to 6 hour game, just like OD will be smaller too. So this is how they can develop both at the same time or so.

Hogwarts Legacy did have a premium version that just included cosmetics - idk if that qualifies as a microtransaction (it's just a one-time purchase and it's the ONLY one), but yes, it did not have any microtransactions otherwise, just the way Mark said "not even a hint of microtransactions" was kind of off to me, because the premium version for a few cosmetics is at least a "hint" of a microtransaction XD

The State of Play was a letdown for me. Death Stranding 2 looks great but still over a year away. Where are the Sony first party games? No word from Sucker Punch, BluePoint, etc. Meanwhile, Naughty Dog released a remaster of a 4 year old game that already looks fantastic. It's been a surprisingly weak generation first party wise by Sony's standards.

weak? lol, almost all studios have released games since PS4 launched, some multiple. Sucker and ND launched theirs at the end of last gen, and with 5 year dev times being the norm, we should start hearing about it this or next year. There's plenty of games especially on PS side, and plenty of 85+'s. Just because your taste is cod and FIFA doesn't mean Sony hasn't got killer exclusives.

Most of the games shown are actually coming relatively soon. Who cares what is coming in 5 years or longer like Kojimas espionage title.
