They first used those tactics at The Somme, the first battle to ever have a tank. The infantry would creep behind the tank and then once they got to The German trenches they would roll the tanks across and the infantry would take over the trench.

Yeah, but the armor is still exaggerated. A rifle bullet would still pierce it. They used full on rifle rounds in the Maxim guns. A 7mm Mauser can still penetrate lots of modern armor. Let alone plates like this.

This is actually accurate for WW1 raiding strategies. It wasn't until later in the war and WW2 that they changed strategies making troops use tanks for cover. In short, they didnt know how to advance properly... hence why so many troops died in the battle of Marne and Tannenberg.

It just stalled because nobody was gaining or losing any ground; Germany took a bunch of France and held it until the treaties that ripped them off took the territory back. Which is great for air-to-air combat, but very impractical for ground use. I get the feeling that the gun was usually being forgotten, but it was not very good for an smg.

Also, I'm pretty sure, that even if they were not trained the soldiers properly, at least they showed them how to operate the rifle at least. How about armored train was used to move supplies to enemy heavily fortified position that was under siege by digger rag tag army/tribe, at only way to breach the fort would be to stop the train? If their was some sort of armer that could be worn reasonably, it would have been developed in the renaissance for sure as they tried, and succeeded for a little while, but muskets quickly became too powerful. If you have armer that allows a single soldier to take a mountain, it would have been mass produced.

But you are right, they actually did make armor, but the game way over exaggerates it’s abilities, I’m no historian, but I’m pretty sure they used it for getting shells and such. Not bullets.

RFC(Royal flying Corps) The Military at the time felt that the aircraft were more valuable than their pilots. They felt that if their pilots were given parachutes then they'd be more inclined to jomp and not rescue their aircraft. So parachutes were seen as surplus to requirements.

Apparently, the French didnt even start off with parachutes. At the beginning of the war, they felt that parachutes were for wimps and therefore did not equip there pilots with one.
