There is 0 sexism in this game. Showing skin is not sexism. Sexism means treating a gender as inferior, which is NOT the case with this game. The female warriors are kicking plenty of ass.

Yet there are women who like seeing naked men, hairy burly men, men being portrayed as sexy in games and in real life etc yet I don't hear any men complaining about that.

*Paratil* You do realise the real Gaia (Aka goddess of the Earth) wears literally *nothing*? The entire religion around Gaia pays very close attention to fertility and a celebration of the female's ability to bare life, so most if not all of the deities surrounding Gaia are completely naked. So are Greek deities, Roman deities, Egyptian deities and numerous Chinese to Japanese deities. Hell, look at the Michelangelo painting in the Sistine chapel! All near butt naked. Little modesty there, *in* one of the most holy Catholic churches on earth! Do you're research before commenting on a Theory video.
@paratil79407 жыл бұрын
I never said anything about doing research, I simply stated that they made the Earth look slutty. I also know that most gods wore little to nothing, but those were also different times, and if gods were to participate in a battle with each other, do you really thing they would wear the equivalent of lingerie? Nike is more appropriate for a goddess heading into battle, but then we look at Aphrodite, who wouldn't fight anyways, but her outfit is more than her classic portrayals, it's not proper for a fighting game. All around, it's just dumb to put them in outfits like that. I agree that they should try to make them look more like their classic portrayals, but I'm getting sick of every goddess coming out with clothes that all look somewhat similar.

Being a Hindu, I am really offended how double standard most of we are. Most of our goddesses are so powerful, sexually commanding and hierarchically superior to most gods whereas in our daily life practise, we don't give women the deserved respect, nor let them demonstrate their sexuality. This is total BS. And honestly, the original depiction of Kali was so badass, it's a travesty that they changed it. In summary, dear Hindus, if you are proud of your religion, then be proud, but embrace it in all its entirety. Don't just impose your narrow-minded opinion as a religious conflict.

Why is this an issue? Why is it okay for paintings and sculptures to be in the nude but oh god forbid we put those same things in a video game? And don't tell me it's because video games are designed to appeal to a younger demographic. Those same "artistic expressions" are just as accessible to people of all ages as any video game is. Merriam-Webster defines art as follows: "Something that is created with imagination and skill and that is beautiful or that expresses important ideas or feelings." In no way does this definition limit artistic value to sculptures and paintings, and in fact can encompass all forms of media among other things. Basically, any form of expression of an idea or emotion can be considered art, VIDEO GAMES included! My point here is the depictions of the goddesses in SMITE are actually much more modest than what is depicted in their source material, as MatPat has already said. In NO way does the game actively FOCUS your attention towards any "distinguishable features" of any of the goddesses in the game. In fact, it does the opposite. As MatPat described, you could go to the website and learn about the gods and goddesses and where they came from. I could see this being an issue if any of the gods or goddesses were being MISREPRESENTED, but that is clearly not the case here. So, in closing, I believe this controversy was a waste of time and actually made things worse for the people who don't want their beliefs misrepresented. Not that I really care, mind you. It's a video game. It just irks me that people would go to these lengths to make a statement, only to make themselves look even worse in the end. Kudos to you people.

Women usually aren't as clinical & logical in their thought processes as men; for instance, you may be able to see all these images of unattainable beauty or expectations in the media & shrug it off... but women are affected alot more by it, subconsciously it leaves its mark, why else would there be such high levels of eating disorders, depression & anxiety in women.. most men will date a woman and complain that she's too needy, too clingy, too jealous or possessive but that all stems from insecurity, we see images of women so beautiful to an unrealistic degree and our self esteem is subconsciously affected by it. :( It's alot more complex than simply, ignoring it all, or not taking it seriously. It has nothing to do with feminism either (or at-least I don't make the connection) it's simply about creating positive body image messages for women by providing them with images they can relate to (no not morbidly obese, since most of us aren't in that type of body shape) but female gods that don't have DD's and 20" waists (Aphrodite, Nu Wa, Nox) who's hips sway to an insane degree when running (Nemesis) - body images or representation that are deemed perfect or beautiful by the opposite gender that most women would never be able to attain. :( And in the end, we never feel beautiful enough, there's always something that we feel insecure about, most often it's the boobs & butt... because the media is ablaze with huge tits & arses and men LOVE IT; some of us can't possibly match up, so we live our lives feeling less than good enough for our partners or the affections of men (or women depending on the way you swing ^_^ ) We see other women who have what we do not, be that skinny perfect long legs, big boobs, perfect bums and some of us don't want our partners too look at them, simply out of fear of being left for someone better or prettier... that's how bad it is. It's more than a simply image or design, it's the way they affect us in the long run. :/

Assuming humans really do have 50,000 thoughts in 24 hours, how many of them could be related to body image?? :( Something interesting to think about. As a woman and a lover of history, it's really annoying to see other women complain about designs of goddesses in this game. Just like the male gods in this game, they are oversexualized and unrealistically attractive using today's standards. Which makes sense since most gods and goddesses are described as being breathtakingly beautiful or so perfect that humans would die just seeing them in their full glory. Not to mention women's bodies weren't as sexualized as they are now, and Smite did a great job recreating them in their game with that in mind. It's incredibly disappointing to see how many women are completely blind to this history in the name of "oversexualizinng". The only one oversexualizing is you.
@mithshude6 жыл бұрын
i agree, these game developers actually took the time to do their research and used historical references and lore for everything from character design to character abilities and character descriptions. then some idiot femi-nazi starts screaming "omg aphrodite the goddes of beauty and recreation is depicted as sexy and with revealing clothes!!" i wonder what would happend if they actually googled the name of these goddesses, using aphrodite as an example the first picture you see is a naked woman standing on a clamshell with people around her staring in envy.. and when it comes to kali, i find the depictions far more disturbing than the games version to say the least.. both in terms of sexuality and, well.. i dont know how to describe the rest

As a woman and an artist it's killing me how people are driving for such strong censorship in games these days. I mean it's fine if there are limits, I can think of several real life subjects and situations that I would definitely not like to ever see made into a video game, but the idea of limiting sexuality in games just seems crazy to me. If you can't turn to the world of fantasy and fiction to have some kind of freedom, where can you? Besides I have to agree with the Theorists here, it doesn't look to me like the characters were needlessly over-sexualized, the designs seemed like fair adaptations. And sometimes I want to play as a sexy looking powerful chick. I don't get to be that in real life, so it can be pretty fun to assume such a role in a game. I totally understand scrutiny of how women are depicted in games because sometimes it really is offensive, like in that game Road to Hell, but there has to be close enough scrutiny to avoid doing more harm than good. Even with that said though, Road to Hell is a game designed to be just what it is, and it's definitely got a specific audience, sort of like cheesy action movies - it should be allowed to be what it is, off in its own little corner, and people who want to make games that aren't like that should be allowed to do their own thing. I just don't think there's anything wrong with sex appeal in video games, and I don't think every little bit of exposed skin is trying to be sexy - hell, Bayonetta's completely covered _and_ she was designed by a woman and people still complain about her design. And now there have been strong female leads in some A-list titles like Mass Effect and Alien Isolation, so it seems like game developers are genuinely trying to make better, more fleshed out female characters, so I hope people will take all that into account as they examine future games, and hopefully give creative freedom a little breathing room.
@interela10009 жыл бұрын
I agree with you! I'm also a woman and I'm an artist myself. And yes, many women have designed ''overly-sexulized'' characters. We should leave games alone. It's already proven that they can't turn everyone into murderers, so I do not believe it will turn men and women into sex offenders either and treat both genders like toys. Today, we women can't be women. And I agree with MatPat too. I personally do not think they're overly sexulized. I have the breats size and body like Kali (I've got curves, but sadly not sixpack, haha). And to see people critisising her for that, for being a healthy looking female, makes me feel bad for being a woman in general in this world. If feminists can go naked on the streets in protests, I think games have the rights to do the same thing.
@darkeimp5559 жыл бұрын
Interela1000 Jojo Exactly, a lot of people forget that it used to be considered SO offensive if a woman's ankles or shoulders were showing, or if her hair was down, IN AMERICA, and for a long time women have fought to be able to just be themselves, and there's nothing wrong with celebrating sexuality. The problem is on one side there's some kind of insane idea that a woman looking sexy is a bad thing and is a distraction to men and men can't be responsible for their actions and thoughts when they see a sexy woman - which is insulting to men and basically describes them as mindless animals instead of people - and then on the other side people who in a misguided attempt to protect women from lustful eyes, go way overboard to the point where they want to roll us back to the puritan age and not even allow women to express themselves. You see people who are supposed to be feminists tearing down women who do sexy cosplay, saying they're a bad example and are contributing to the idea that it's okay to objectify women, and worse still they apply that to video games and cartoons where the people aren't even _real_. I think what _really_ needs to happen is people educating themselves and their kids that sex is part of life and isn't some forbidden thing that you have to suppress to the point where you start getting truly unhealthy thoughts and urges, nor is it some golden goose to be put on a pedestal so that it controls your life. It's something to be acknowledged, learnt about, and dealt with responsibly.
@interela10009 жыл бұрын
Darke Imp Indeed! Sexuality is nothing to be ashamed of, nor is it wrong or bad. The women look healthy and fit. And I agree, why can't women be sexy in fighting games? If they want to be, then let them. It's just a game anyway. These kind of things is what's stopping people from being creative. Today's society puts limits on art, games, movies and songs, which are all limitless! And that's sad. Another thing that I do not understand is why paintings of a naked Aphrodite that was made hundreds of years ago get praised as exellent art and is showing a strong, motherly woman. While in games, cartoons, anime and movies, they get criticisedas ''distastefull'' and ''sexulized''. Some cartoons, manga and anime gets censored, but other form of art stays uncensored.
@darkeimp5559 жыл бұрын
Interela1000 Jojo Yeah, I don't understand that either! I saw someone else's comment on this video that "just because these deities are normally portrayed as basically naked doesn't mean you can portray them as basically naked in your game" and I'm just like what??? It's so ridiculous and hypocritical lol. I can definitely understand taking some measures to help these problems in real life, but trying to censor the arts is only adding to the real problem, which is as I said, the fact that nobody wants to have serious, mature discussions about sex, they'd rather run and hide from it. Man I hope we can all get past it someday!
@interela10009 жыл бұрын
Darke Imp I agree! It's so weird! I hope too that society one day will grow up and say: ''Why did we try to hide asuch a normal, everyday thing like sex and sexuality?'' And well, censoring women in games is a bit misogynistic, to be honest. Like they do in these strict Islamic countries or in any country that downgrades women in general. Where women have to cover EVERYTHING, even their hair.
@flyin43527 жыл бұрын
Why am I not surprised that the further back you go in history, the less women were seen as sexual objects to be covered up?
@flyin43527 жыл бұрын
***** Not to villainize them or anything, but don't think we can write off Christianity's role in that. I have noticed there are actually very few major religions that have such strict rules about women *or* men. Even Islam wasn't as rigid before extremists got into power, and most of the world in general either walked around half naked or they all wore very gender-less clothing. Just look at the tribal cultures in Africa and Brazil! Now I can't give an unbiased opinion on Christianity, considering what it's done to practitioners of *my* religion, but here in Britain at least we still have a very set in stone gender bias. It's not as violent or obvious as America, it does work both ways, and I think that's probably down to how deeply Christianity is in our culture. For instance, in a custody battle, the mother is more likely to win by about 65%, simply because it's assumed she would have the child's best interest's at heart more so than the father. Or in cases of child abuse, the mother is less likely to be investigated if the father shows even small signs of being the abuser. Publicly speaking, it's surprising to hear about house husbands, or women who can't cook, or a woman doing hard labour like fixing the roof or even working in construction. However, single mothers are still looked down on more so than single fathers, especially if they work, because the general public simply thinks they aren't 'good enough' to raise a child well on their own. If a woman drinks regularly, she's seen as a drunkard much more readily than if a man drank the same amount. Sexually confident women are 'slags' and everybody assumes they all have STD's and sleep with a different man each night. But those are only the ones I know about. Unfortunately, most people need to feel like something better than themselves is looking out for them, and there's nothing *wrong* with that, so they believe anything that seems to tell them how to go about being the best follower they can. If the bible says women have a higher tendency for evil then men, then *of course* they need harsher restrictions to keep them in check. Let's just forget how it was one of those same women that birthed our Christ shall we? Not to mention people will always take things how *they* want it to be for themselves. The crusades are a perfect example. The Knights thought they were doing God's work, but somehow I don't think a being who loves all creation would willingly agree to the slaughter of thousands simply because they had a different one. I suppose I'm just ranting now, but really it all seems comes down to how people see things, and how much of it they *want* to see.

+*nathan milner* That is literally just re-iterating a point made earlier in the replies. I'm stating how, in the modern day, it's much more 'shameful' to see a woman in traditional gear than a man, mainly because women are widely seen as sexual objects now. The point here is, the further back in history you go, the more drastically changed the attitude towards nudity in general is. If you read the other replies, you'll see some thoughts as to why. This whole video was stating how society in general ignored the fact that these goddesses are pretty tame compared to their histories. Because people now see a pair of breasts and a good 75% think it's erotic, men and women, the other 25% are likely to feel it's something that should be regulated otherwise they fear it will get out of hand. Newsflash, it's already out of hand. So basically your point is a good one, but has already been covered. If you feel like I was deliberately attacking men with my comment and felt the need to defend them, please try to get all the facts first. I welcome people questioning my opinion, so long as it's not just mindless dribble and insults.

Something I've never gotten, is why people don't care about men being sexualized. I know, this is going to sound really stupid, so prepare for stupidness. Basically, if you don't know what a double standard is, it is something that applies to one thing but the opposite applies for something else (in its very basic definition). People complain when even a side-boob is shown, yet think about this: men are seen shirtless in A LOT of kids movies. Like, most of them that aren't animated. So, how come women can't be shirtless without be being counted as "nudity"? Sure, female-breasts are considered more sexual, but either way, all breasts are is blobs of fat for feeding babies. Children won't be scarred for life because they saw someone half-naked (AKA in a bathing suit, etc.), unless the parent reacts in a way that makes them feel they should be scarred. Another double standard I hate: that "classic art" shouldn't be censored because "then people couldn't see the full amazingness of it!", yet when it comes to *literally* anything else, if it shows even the slightest of things that a parent doesn't like, then it deserves a M rating and that's final! No other words! Luckily movies are starting to break away from censorship by pushing what they can do. Music has done it since rock, and now rap (both of which people have just grown to accept... for the most part). For books, no one has really cared about censorship besides maybe a couple swear words for kids, but that's about it (for the most part). However, video games are ALWAYS censored. Why? Because it's constantly blamed for more and more shootings, murders, etc. So, what happens? Video game makers get scared and change what is in their game, making it so that they can't get sued or something like that (BTW, there is *no* straight evidence that video games cause violence or any negative effects on brain functioning, besides making you lazier which will happen with anything interesting that isn't exercise). Also, despite the fact that there are A LOT of female role models in gaming (Samus Aran pre-Other M, Lara Croft, Bayonetta, Faith, Nariko, Princess Zelda, Jill Valentine, etc.), people still see gaming as "only for testosterone filled men". Why? Because the most popular games are shooters and / or games that sexualize women in some way, like GTA V, but that's a bad example since you can run around in your underwear for the entire game if you wanted. But anyways, just because a character is over-sexualized doesn't mean ANYTHING. All that matters is if they are awesome at what they do, which most gaming female characters are, no matter how sexy they are.
@ajaxhopper98599 жыл бұрын
Sorry, homeslice, I'm too lazy to read that. :) I agree with you though. The reason people get away with oversexualizing men is because men "can't be the victim" and "enjoys being sexualized". It gets way annoying.

batman88891 I just need to thank you for putting it into words. Like seriously, I've felt this way for most of my life and haven't had any actual proper English terms to describe it. It just really annoys me that the whole reason most of this happens is because of women's tragic history throughout the world, thus people are more likely to lash out, and apparently make it sell better on media. In actuality, it's them who's at fault here. When asked if they report what they do just for attention, most news stations will obviously respond with the classic "Pshhh nah what're you talking about?", but then they'll ignore a large crime and just report about "gay atheletes" or "this woman did something outstanding that if a guy did it would be totally normal ooooh". Ahem.I apologize for making that into my own personal rant instead of a simple reply to your beauty of a comment.

I feel like society (particularly western society) still needs to sort its views on sex, sexuality, and "modesty" before there can be any rubric on what is considered decent and offensive. Using a character as just sex appeal and nothing more is offensive, regardless of the sex they're built with. People push for "Ladies you can dress however you want!" but then get offended if a character shows even a TINY bit of suggestive skin. In my art class, a boy painted a picture of a woman standing on a board paddling out on a lake. Her back was to the viewer, and you could see she was topless. Literally no one was offended by it, and the class consists of nine students, five of which are girls. Our art teacher wanted him to at least draw a string, but the girls were saying, "Well she's not being harassed, she's not embarrassed or in any kind of pain, and nothing is showing." "The piece is about freedom and she is free by setting aside a standard of society." and "Let her dress how she wants! Feminism!" A few things to keep in mind with character clothing: Is it appropriate for the character? Is it appropriate for the character's society? Is it appropriate for the situation? Society may not accept it, but based on the reactions in my class, it might be safe to assume that it would be fairly easy to sway peoples' opinions and views on clothing and things of that nature. I'm kind of tired so I apologize if my points are not put together very clearly. What's my view on the topic? Honestly, I don't care what you wear. As long as the reproductive parts are covered and the situation is appropriate, wear what you want! People should celebrate their bodies! It's your body, nobody else's, and as long as you aren't harming yourself (unless say in the event of piercings or tattoos), you should be able to do it. Bodies are beautiful and you should celebrate yours however you want. You are all beautiful!

It's just silly. And I agree with the makers of the video as well, as I play Smite myself. The characters and lore are all very tasteful and well put together.

@great papyrus You clearly don't understand what we are talking about, Smite is a game about several gods (Sadly, no christianity, would be fun to have a Gabriel, a Lucifer maybe and ofcourse God, who they could name "Jahve" which is the Jewish name for him I think, and ofcourse Jesus) We have the greek and roman (Basically same thing) We also have Hindu and all those, imo, I'm either believing greek mythology or Chrisitanity, mostly Christianity atm
Umm, aren't the characters that dont have armor fast characters? Less armor = higher movement speed. And being a female with that little clothes was an assassination strategy in some cultures. Your opponent, like Mat, will be too dazed and awed by the female's appearance, allowing her to go for the kill.

Less armor equals to more advantage in a kill, but, if we're talking about war, I suppose it depends on the mission and environment, if we're talking about a silent kill, I suppose some dark clothes or something to people to confuse her with the darkness of the probable environment. But, a spy, on the other hand may need less clothing for seduction. But, I think in general you are quite right, I really agree on what you said :D have a good day/afternoon/night!

A lot of white folks thought that people were being too sensitive when demands were made to abolish slavery in America. When women wanted the right to vote, people thought they were being too sensitive. We'll adjust, just give people another decade and it will even out. Then we'll have a couple of decades of stability before the next big social issue. Robot personhood? Who knows.

No they were wrong to change them. As a HUGE Ancient Egyptian History fan.. Most female Egyptians Goddesses did not have any type of clothing up top.. So yeah, they need to back up and go to there original design. Yes i am aware this is 6 years later. Im still Salty about this..... 😑

To be fair, they were free titties, but from what I'm seeing their dress was still ending right below the boobs, hiding the waist and hips. In the game, her hourglass shape is showing. Making a female character "sexy" is not just about showing the boobs, it's also about the hips, waist and the hourglass shape of the body. I don't even care that much about the game, but it bothers me so much that the argument is only looking at whether boobs are showing or not, ignoring what is happening with the rest of the attire.

Why should Christian mythology be left out? That's discriminatory! “It's now very common to hear people say, 'I'm rather offended by that.' As if that gives them certain rights. It's actually nothing more... than a whine. 'I find that offensive.' It has no meaning; it has no purpose; it has no reason to be respected as a phrase. 'I am offended by that.' Well, so fucking what." - Stephen Fry
@SiddiqueSukdiki10 жыл бұрын
i dont think Jesus is a God in Christianity, correct me if I'm wrong. Also he would be the lamest character there. The god they believe in would just be op and there is no portrayal of him to make a character from. Is it that hard to figure? Common sense is becoming less common by day.
@TheCodebuilder10 жыл бұрын
Fatt Goat....The way Christianity Jesus works is that he, God, and the Holy spirit, are one being, but three separate entities. So the character in-game, would be like the god Hel, except instead of only being 2 states, there would be three. Jesus form would be a healer (possibly), God form would be the overpowered high-damage form (possibly), and the Holy Spirit would be...umm *googles* I guess it would be the magic user (possibly can convert enemy minions to teams side.) The ultimate power all three would have is blasphemy, Which can one hit another god, but takes a while to charge up. (balancing reasons).

This reminds me of a video I saw. The thing was jesus was joining the avengers and his offensive power the "dying for their sins". I mean jesus may make a great healer but he would have no means of defending himself other than perhaps very self-sacrificing techniques.

I don't care much about nudity, I mean come on, it's just breasts and genitals. I understand that people don't want their deities portrayed that way but seriously, they need to get over it. It's not like they're having sex with each other.
@hexadecimal52369 жыл бұрын
It's left-over cultural puritanism and it's strange because it comes from Liberals and Fox News watchers, but when you ask them why they are anti-nudity all of them fail to come up with a logical answer. Christians say, 'It's Biblical." But then you ask them why their daughters are allowed to wear bikini's at the beach and they say, "Oh, well it's situational." Which means their argument is hypocritical has no basis. You ask Liberals why they are against nudity and they say "It's Exploitation." You ask them if strippers and escorts are being exploited and they respond, "Not if it is their choice." Which again, completely short-circuits their entire argument. Unless Liberals are arguing only against cartoon nudity.
@bacicinvatteneaca9 жыл бұрын
Rose BPOS It's not puritanism. I mean come on, look better. They replaced a traditional egyptian clothe from a time where breasts did not have such a HUGE sexual meaning... with a tiny piece of linen that OH SURE covers the nipple, but is basically screaming "You can only have a taste of it". It's not about uncovering the uncovered, it's about sexualising everything that falls under our eyes; we're making our whole culture revolve around sex! Ever heard about bonobos and why they're headed to extinction?
@hexadecimal52369 жыл бұрын
baciccin vattene a cà I agree that she should have more athletic sized breasts, and I see you clearly stepped by the entire puritanical side of the argument, that's fine lets just look at the pictures. In Ancient Egypt statues, Neith was COMPLETELY NUDE (except for a very small top garment), in today's game Smite, she has clothing on and her breasts are clearly a few sizes larger, so they traded having her be COMPLETELY NAKED with having larger breasts. So how about instead of using artistic license to change ancient culture AT ALL, they simply color the Ancient Statues and everyone plays the Characters COMPLETELY NAKED. You're going to come up with a different reason why that's not okay I'm sure, because you're argument isn't based on science it's based on emotion. And why do we pretending like anyone hasn't seen breasts? You can see naked people on LITERALLY any electronic device within less than five seconds! s.ecrater.com/stores/2282/42efbc4839127_2282n.jpg 1.images.gametrailers.com/image_root/vid_thumbs/2013/02_feb_2013/feb_15/t_smite_devdiary_neith_1280x720_3500_h32.jpg?
@bacicinvatteneaca9 жыл бұрын
Rose BPOS For your final sentence, THAT'S THE PROBLEM. We are making our whole culture revolve around a sexualised nudity.And it'd be just fine for me if they actually made Smite's gods look like their traditional depictions, I never played Smite but seeing this video I was disappointed in not seeing on Kali the severed arm skirt, the severed heads collar and the actual, scary eyes instead of these white and glowy ones they put on every character. She is one of the apects of sexuality, sure, but the brutal and bloody one, she's not supposed to be teasing. And my main problems are with Neith and Aphrodite, Neith becaus she's sexualised which makes no sense, and Aphrodite because she's a spoof of what our society finds attractive, making her highly repslive. They had sexualised so much EVERY other character that in order to make us understand Aphrodite is the actual goddes of seduction they had to give her ugly, disproportioned breasts and lips that would make her unable to speak...

Dude, they are GODDESSES. They are a symbol of strenght, sexuality, fertility, power. What GODDESS would hide her body? Their bodies are supposed to be the ideal. Google "goddess" and you WILL have mostly sensual or sexual women. Damn, people literally worship these women but they are always going on about what they should wear and how to act. Let the goddamn game go.
@rakitvord11867 жыл бұрын
you know... you have a decent point. If you take gods (male) the same thing is true as well. usually when they show Jesus or god, its this "flawless" figure of a man. I wouldn't be surprised if the same was for goddesses.

Video Games are ART. ART is protected in every civilized country by freedom of speech rights. Everyone who doesn't like certain artwork but looks at it anyway, can not claim that he was "offended", because even if the artwork observed is perceived as offensive by tat person, observing it in the first place was that persons own decision, and as such, the offense is self-inflicted. I don't like Grapefruits. That doesn't mean that someone who likes them has to stop eating them.
@elderrolls96138 жыл бұрын

well a video game however you put it is art a movie is art a picture a 5 year old draws at school is art art is in the eye of the beholder so call it whatever you want to call it but its a form of art besides you call it porn i mean i cant speak for everyone but i don't see myself getting off to playing smite
@ArinJager18 жыл бұрын
ART is NOT protected in every civilized country by freedom of -insert your freedom here- (speech, expression, thought, press,... etc.), apparently... or maybe these so called civilizations are NOT civilizations at all! only idiots get offended by everything they don't like (their oppinion, it's their right to have one, it's their right to not like something, too, after all, but demanding changes in a videogame? wtf is wrong with these people?! probably a lot of things, I'd bet)... Getting offended is a choice - a bad choice "Darn grapefruit eaters! They should all die in fire!" ridiculous, isn't it? (replace "grapefruit eaters" by "infidels", for example... oh well, that's just humans, I guess) -.-
