+Ace in the Hole yes that's is why he is not in smash. But other people say it's possible to put him in and make him look like Ridley without shrinking him because they did it with bowser and King dedede. But bowser is his normal size.

I'm more familiar with different languages, but I do sometimes forget that Britain and Brazil write their dates different, or how different countries spell.

Love the opening jab at Final Destination. I never play Smash Bros. with my friends anymore because they demand that all items be turned off, and we have to set stage select to Turns so that we actually play something other than Final Destination... When it's my turn. And then they complain about how "unbalanced" the stage is. We're playing for fun, not practicing for a tournament. Turn on the items and throw some damn bombs!

I like the explanation at the end of how this information doesn't change anything but it opens our eyes more. I had that same moment of realization when I learned in college that, centuries ago, there was a dead bug that was worth more than silver because it was used to create a very vibrant red dye which, at the time, wasn't common I'm not gonna use that information for anything but I LOVE THAT I KNOW IT!

This is the old game theory I miss. A very in depth video that means something I learn from. Recent videos have been a lot of fluff and random internet knowledge that most people have picked up through imgur osmosis that gets thrown away to prove what the theory isn't. five nights at freddy's, math, and this stuff that is game theory at its best

Hey MattPatt! Ever think about doing a game theory about why Melee was able to stand the test of time? I'm sure you could discover something others couldn't, and also bring some light to the great competitive scene Melee has. I could see you becoming fascinated by the highly technical gameplay of melee and it's history with players, also it's the origin of the wombo combo, and the guy who got wombo combo'd (Zhu) is still around playing melee. Those final lines really got to me, like if something was shaken inside me... thank you MatPat. I feel awkward but it feels good and im amazed by how little things really connect the world, what you did there is remarkable asking why and getting answers that are unexpected, imagine that kind of realization while investigating the universe, how things that seem unrelated are actually part of the same. I just cant wait to find out how are quantum mechanics and relativity related

I have a theory: most theorists know that the red quarter in the logo is a reference to film theory. My theory is that this pattern will continue. And that there will be more branches of Game theory and the next one will be Blue. and it will be called: Book Theory. It would be similar to the ones we know today and it will analyse books like the games and films. then there will be a forth branch (colored yellow) called Music Theory. I don't know how that one will work but I know it will. Then there will be the fifth and final branch. It will be colored white, the combination of the surrounding colors, and it will be called LIFE THEORY. In this one they will analyse real life theories and theories about Game Theory and the other branches. It would be cool if that final branch would theorize about this theory. I think I am right please respond if your opinion differs. THEORISTS FOR THE WIN!!!

I think the final branch would only mention this theory but not theorize it, because it's the final branch, which means that the other branches already exist, and it would already be confirmed to be a fact. It would also be weird if it theorized about it because they should already know (or atleast plan) it's going or not going to happen. Maybe they will be inspired by this...

I really had a lot of fun watching this episode; not just because I love Nintendo, Smash Bros or beta game elements, but because you talked about *_game design._* Now I'm working on a video game or two right now and I feel the public knowledge of 3D graphic design is what video games themselves are to _K2 News Anchors_ or the _"main" public consciousness_; unimportant, unappreciated and unknown.. But the moment you mentioned OpenGL, texture mapping, and reflection mapping.. My mind was blown. Something I've so personally have worked with and are continuing to work with being mentioned in a Game Theory vid, it makes me feel more than just a fan with a number, it makes me feel like a small part of what KZfaq, video games, and Game Theory mean to everyone. Us fans, creators, and developers are more than just voices that may go unheard to the higher tier, we all have an impact on each other, without realizing it at times. Odds are you won't see this MatPat, but your channel has impacted me in many positive ways that I couldn't possibly list them all here, and even if you never end up seeing this amongst.. who knows how many more stories, I still want to thank you. Maybe I'll end up giving back someday.. but until then.. _keep asking questions._
