This show needs a reboot. I really enjoyed this game show.

It's my favorite game show. I also like almost as much (but not quite) 'Blockbusters' with Bill Cullen. Now Buzzr is soon going to air another forgotten one called 'Talk About'.

$25,000 was a lot of money in 1979, equivalent to about $103,595 in 2023. it was the most you could win on a CBS game show at the time at once and you could only keep up to $35,000

I did the math. If you ran the board going up the far right side all the way, that was $750. Successfully having your opponent hit all 6 blocks you place on the far right would be another $750, giving you $1500, meaning the maximum amount of time any player could have would be 75 seconds (60+ 15 seconds of bonus time per $100 won up front). I know...I need a life😂😂😂

You forgot one little piece-a third round could be needed. Meaning another 750 or 2250 in total. Or 82 insane seconds to win. The odds of an opponent hitting all 6 blocks and winning the round might as well be zero though.

Unpopular opinion, but she blurted out Dodgers after the clock hit zero. IMHO, she lost.

I never would've guess that Tom Kennedy (John Edward Narz) was the younger brother of Jack Narz. They seem NOTHING alike!

In my early days online, I occasionally got to communicate eith Randy. He was a class act,, through and through. It's a shame he never lived to see his appearances resurface...he missed it by less than one day of his passing, then 20 years later, we got the series on BUZZR.

24:02 HE SAID IT BEFORE THE "TIMES UP" SIGNAL HIT!
@lojosol
@lojosol Жыл бұрын
I think the initial call was based on the fact the keyword of "Fudd" was not said before the villains called out "TIIIIIME'S UUUUUP!". However, after a more in-depth review, he was saying the full name of "Elmer Fudd", and since it is part of the name of the character, they decided that him saying the word "Elmer" was the actual start of him calling out the answer, and as long as you are saying the essence of the answer before the time expires, game shows usually give credit to the player.
