Can't say I blame you for wanting to get out of the Kakam asap. The ship seems to think it's a submersible seeing how much it fights to go under.

I sailed to the new archipelago a couple of delivery missions into a new save with the kakam. You only need a few hundred reputation for the missions to start appearing, but in an existing save it can take a while for that to happen, a bit like missions to XXXX. Because the new update completely reconfigures the economy of the game it can take a while for everything to load in, including the missions to the Fire Fish Lagoon. It's a very easy jaunt in the kakam, shorter and easier than Happy Bay. I got there without a compass (sold to buy a barrel of water after spending all my money on tea for trade) and it's almost directly downwind all the way from DC. It's a whole new world to explore, with amazing new sights to see and fun new weather effects. You can always just grab a few boxes of tea and sail there uninvited! If a larger youtuber started making regular Sailwind videos, that would only be good for you. More attention to the game means more people interested, and seeing who's doing things differently. You'd end up recommended to their hordes of subscribers and growing as a channel.

I hadn’t thought of it that way. Thanks for the feedback!

Yeah, that's something you run into if you participate in a Beta Placeholders and you can't expect stuff to be where you expect it to be. Why I never do beta's means I don't get disappointed I also avoid all Beta related gossip.

nice overview of the new features : ) I'm glad you cover this game, my work is too busy to play it that much so I can live vicariously through you. I hope other youtubers pick up the game so it can get the fame it deserves, but I hope you keep covering it too. Personally I like the balance between editing and full sail that you have, but I just drop in and watch a few videos every half year or so, so don't put too much value on my opinion, haha
