I think the biggest factor in this game was Desoto’s red zone defense cause they held them to like 3 or 4 fg so that really won them the game

Imma be real, this game looked like Chad, Travis, and Will vs. Antonio, Devante, and Tyrone. Great game though. Both teams played their asses off and their were some fantastic individual plays all over the field. Texas HS football really is something else. I feel like it's almost a guarantee that at least one player on the field during this game will be in the NFL eventually.

Don't let the Chad, Travis, Chance or Chase fool you. These boys can play and are extremely talented this school has always been a rich tradition in high school football, but the Devante, Tyrone and Raheem are some of the best players in the country and that team can beat any team in the country if they play like they are capable of playing and thats including those private schools that Cali and any other powerhouse recruits. The Chads an Chase's though don't back down from anyone and will give the Tyrone's all that they can handle and some.

One of the reason teams like DV Desoto and SOC are in the finals is because they've seen it all. When you schedule tough preseason games nothing you see in playoffs surprises you. The experience you get from playing top 10 teams early on will translate later in the season. Don't believe me look at SOC for two years, Desoto Last year and this year and DV.

#15 K.Abrams for Desoto is an absolute monster for his size @ 6.1 - 205 lbs at DE. Made numerous plays on the goal line to preserve the win 👍🏽Plays very similar to Von Miller too

I like how both teams came out with the same "INTENSITY." No cake walk for either team but the physical play from the Eagles DEFENSIVELY limited SLC passing game to bubble screens. Great Rb's on both sides....sure to see them and those big guys in the trenches @a power 5 playing early. DeSoto def kept the main thing the main thing with that bend but don't break toughness. You gotta live it when a team has to kick field goals and not extra points.(great job blocking the kick and t.o. on the goal line.) I didnt see much action from #13 but he has next week to shine. Qb 5 stepped up big with his rpo choices too. Overall, great game and the BEST TEAM WON. (ALLEN HS STADIUM IS PLAYER!! 🔥)

im from georgia and thought football was a big deal (and it is) where i grew up. when i was a sophomore in high school we flew down to texas to watch my cousin, Chase Daniel play the first home game of his senior year (04) at their 11,000 person multi-million dollar stadium. i think they were preseason ranked #1 in the country. the atlanta metro where im from is loaded wifh talent but as soon as i stepped foot in that facility i knew that this texas shit was a whole different animal. really cool to experience if ur not from texas. even chase admitted his high school facilities were nicer than mizzou his first year 😂

Southlakes QB crossed the line on that no TD call. That changed the momentum when they didn’t call it. Should have went to overtime, that being said desoto running back was a beast. South lake is a group team while desoto just has a nfl destined running back. 2 great programs, love watching both these programs. Desoto did deserve it more!

I have a lot of customers I work for out in Southlake, I do the landscaping all year round, and I can tell you from first hand experience that the Southlake community is full of MILLIONAIRES. One of my clients plays for the the Saints and his son is going to Southlake highschool next year. Southlake gets TONS OF DONATIONS and the best players with top notch medical staff looking out for them. It's good to see DeSoto really take it to Southlake. This is the first time I ever seen Southlake lose

A fan of high school football and both these teams are juggernauts. This actually should've went into OT. SLC did cross the plain on the 4th and 1 play. Their last drive would have made it 45-45. This would have made it one of the greatest Texas high school playoff games.

Its INSANE to see how much ORGANIC talent there is in like a 10 mile radius in South Dallas (Duncanville, Desoto, Cedar Hill, South Oak Cliff, etc) going to their assigned public school.

Refs screwed south lake. At the beginning, they yelled at the WR to “just play football” when all he did was celebrate the play he made like everyone else did on desoto way worse actually. You could just tell the refs wanted to see desoto win. Kind of a joke, when desoto has 3-5 good players and south lake has all round good team. This is coming from someone who played Texas highschool football that has no bias towards any team playing. Kind of sick to see refs do this at the highschool level… no wonder it happens at the pro level too.
