Excellent analysis. I've been impressed with CJ's poise in the pocket. He stays cool in the pocket and makes good decisions.

Stroud has received a lot of well deserved praise and attention for how his play right outta the gate as a rookie. It has been impressive. The thing I haven't heard receive much discussion or recognition is this patch work O Line. 2nd, 3rd and even 4th stringers are truly blowing me away. In yrs prior, the Texans have had fully healthy starters on the line and have been porous butter like garbage. Idk if it's the play calls that put the line and Stroud in more successful situations or the O Line coach or what it is. But it's truly amazing that Stroud is able to stand back there un harrassed for so many snaps/drop backs considering the injuries and constant shuffling of linemen.

As a Texans fan I feel like we finally have hope. We have had good teams but we always knew they could never beat the Brady and Manning or Mahomes. After we had our team blow up it was like all hope was gone. We have a long way to go but CJ has given us the hope we can get to a superbowl at some point down the line.

Great breakdown. Love the insight . One point of feedback. Increase the thickness of your highlight marks and it will make them easier to see when watching on mobile phone 🧐

The defense is easily read, cover 4 quarters. The dbs defend the deep ball, the lbs are defending the goal line. CJ reads this as soon as the defense is set. He moves the safety with his eyes watching brown as he breaks and resets hitting an anticipation pass to Dell over the top. CJ is getting the ball into the end zone to either Brown as he nears the goal line, or Dell when the safety commits to the inside move. Great play call by Slowik in the situation, perfect execution by the offense.
