in RDR2 you actually have to run ALOT to get to the "blurry texture" zone. by the time he crossed the river, he already passed the map boundary, but despite that, rockstar put so much effort and detail into an area you were never even meant to see.

The endless map of san andreas is the best. It doesn’t make you feel restricted. I like the story-based results as well of dying light 2 and far cry 6.

In Red Dead Redemption 1 you can go for an infinite amount into the sky and the map gets smaller and smaller, it's crazy ... Horizontally isn't the only way to go. Why not explore the sky limit/sky boxes? wish someone would do this

In rdr2 there’s also map boundaries in Mexico but with certain tricks you can get there and explore until you reach the real end of the map

In RDR2, there is a vast and meticulously crafted world beyond the map boundaries that can only be reached by running extensively. Rockstar has put a tremendous amount of effort into creating this hidden area, even though it was never intended to be seen by players😃

In rdr2 you can go to Mexico as well when you glitch through the west end of the San Juan River, and if you walk to where Manteca falls is, you will come across the fort from rdr1 on your way there on a cliff that you'd only be able to see from new Austin. And from Mexico, you can travel all the way to Canada if you stay on the very west area of the map (while not accidentally falling back into New Austin) as well as reaching Guarma if you head southeast from Mexico for a bit until you see rainforest instead of desert :)

I don't get why in games where you just get teleported back, devs give you a warning. But in some where you actually get killed (like GTA V or Just Cause), you don't.

In The Witcher 3 when that map is opened up it acts as a fast travel location that you can use.

The overall details of sleeping dogs, story, gameplay, combat is insane and underrated. I miss those legendary games. Nowadays I personally don't enjoy any games like those old ones. RD2, ghost of Tsushima, watch dogs 2, GTA v,days gone, Witcher3. I really miss those nostalgic days.

I bet that the map of RDR2 was planned much much bigger in the beginning but Rockstar had to cut content. But instead of deleting, they just added big rocks or deadly water. Can't imagine why they should have put so much effort into these huge unreachable areas...

Supposedly there was to be RDR2 DLC in which RDR1 storyline Is playable, there's no other reason for them to include more than half of the RDR1 map to the game(from which only little of it makes it to the storyline), except for Mexico bit which was mostly terrain and that too could be seen in RDR2

@@techyrockI’ve never heard any of the devs or actors mention this. It’s probably just from the roughly 5 hours of cut story from the game which we’ve figured out to be in chapter 5.

@@cocob0l0 obviously R* wouldn't want Devs or Actors talking about this, imagine if they would have passed the hint and then R* given they didn't move forward with it would have faced even more hate from fans for ditching the idea, I am not saying its for sure, but given how much of RDR1's map made it to RDR2 and most of the major actors from rdr being in rdr2 makes the perfect formula for remake dlc and lots of money

In Sleeping Dogs actually if you go through the invisible barrier, you will be able to see where the water ends. Also you can see the water shape is some kind of an octagon. I will upload a video about it later.

GTA SA, 4 and 5 have the best restrictions, most natural and realistic. The worst offenders are those games who teleport you back or just turning the player around… so lazy

Dude, in GTA SA you are using Hydra in takeoff or landing mode itself while you are flying it. You could change it to flying mode.

Rdr2 map is much bigger than the blur. I've used free roam cam in pc using mods and have tried to reach end of the ocean but its endless like San Andreas

Try the old 'Mercenaries - playground of destruction'. You wander off the map. You get warned that this is a restricted zone. You die from a massive air strike.

In miles morales you can do go out of the map, I went to queens region, the map available in spiderman 2 , conditions is you have to use your venom enrgy in one of the mission when it gets unlimited,instead of using the venom punch, use venom jum to go too high as much as you can then use the venom boos or spring to go forward ,but there is no land just building semiconstructed and water

I think the best out of bound game is Dragon quest. If u go west, after a while u will appear in the east. Also north south direction, because the world is round

You missed skyrim! It's very cool. I wen oob in skuldalfin and sovengarde and it was really cool. Oob in skuldalfin and you can access the rest of the map in the interior of skyrim, but not everything loads.. need to do it again!

Once when i was piloting the f16 in San Andreas, I was literally flying again the border. Then was a black screen and I end up in a winter city hehe. Has happened to anyone else ???

Yeah, the vending machine handed out free Sprunks and you could do the hot coffee activity with any NPC you saw.
