Not sure if you two knew, but here’s an interesting fact: The McDonald’s Sonic 3 promotion is the reason why Sonic 3 was split into two pieces, 3 and Knuckles!

I remember finding this big, super old box of mainly fast food toys years back at my nana's! Nearly all of these were in there lol, my favorite was definitely Knuckles!

I didn't grow up with them like Helen did, but I think my personal favorite is Tails. I had quite a few of the N64 Taco Bell toys though.

This is actually incredible to get something that is a sonic blast from the past. But it feels like a mix bag from tons of shows. Since tails looks like Sonic SatAM counter part and eggman on bag is more like the game or instruction manual counter part. FUN FACT for Sonic fans: even though there was couple different tv series of our blue blur in 1993. Knuckles never appeared in any of them. He appeared in the Japanese Sonic the Hedgehog OVA in 1996, but for TV shows he appear on Sonic Underground once which was around 1999.

That intro skit is great! Wow, the Happy Meal bag looks brand new! We have the Sonic figure but no launcher. And honestly I don't even remember any of the others but I MAY have seen the Robotnik one before. Time to keep an eye out.

It was a bit hard on us to break the seal on these toys after all these years. But the one I'm shocked about is our Robotnik, it just doesn't work. Brand new out of the bag and it's already broken... Not sure if it was a bad batch, or if the Robotnik toys have a higher failure rate. Thankfully the other stuff worked.

@@Game_and_Browse You know, I actually wondered that about the toys--if you were opening them or had duplicates--one open and one sealed. And go figure on the Robotnik toy. Imagine the poor luck as a kid of not only getting one busted straight from the bag but trying to convince your parents it wasn't YOU who broke it!

I bet. Balls are his favorite kinds of toys. Part of me has thought about buying some Mario Tennis promo balls and using them as a fetch toy for him. Lol
