IT TAKES A LOT OF ENERGY TO TRANSFER AN AUDIO SIGNAL ACROSS THE LENGTH OF A VIBRATING SPRING. BY THE TIME THE SOURCE AUDIO SIGNAL REACHES THE SPRING TANK’S OUTPUT TRANSDUCER, MOST OF ITS NUANCED HARMONIC CONTENT WILL BE LOST CONVERTED INTO MECHANICAL ENERGY.
THIS IS WHY SPRING REVERBS HAVE SUCH A PARTICULAR SOUND, SINCE WHAT YOU END UP HEARING IS LARGELY THE SPRING’S OWN RESONANT FREQUENCIES. I really wanted this pedal as I love the way they put a window into its soul like the people that walk on beaches. But its a little too pricey for me as I already have a reverb pedal. I really wanted this though!

This pedal's knobs are it's curse and blessing. It is SO tweakable, but specific. I have one (I've been gunning to replace the surfy bear).. this week, I found the "spot". It was an agressive use of the gate, cutting off reverb pretty early. Net here is it has an ocean of sweat spots. It's worth learning in depth. It is the most inspiringly pedal to release in many years. Do it. Don't fixate on recreating. Have fun with the "what if" factor

I think the other two pedals from this company are amazing, and I'd highly recommend them. I'm not sold on this one. Really hoping they do the motor pedal that they demoed a prototype for years ago.

Pretty sure they just turned it into a semi modular synth. Kinda disappointed they didn’t go thru with the pedal version.

That's just a Boss DD-8 we're running through the effects loop of our Thermion Zero Amp. Sounds rad, though, right?
