As we know from actually playing him, he has gadgets directly for the purpose of shutting down weapons and making them ineffective. Yea the way its used here is very weird. In Arkham Knight and Asylum its shown that it can literally traumatise people that they started running around screaming sometimes even causing physical and mental affects on people. We already saw how it affected Batman throughout the whole game, the guy with one of the strongest willpower ever got overtaken by his fears that he was pushing everybody away from him and became Joker. I am guessing Batman modified it to just make it look like his a demon and keep the toxin temporary but still.

Demon Batman and even Knightmare Batman from the Arkham Knight true ending is something I would picture if he took the Sinestro ring and used it.

Also, one of the other things I’m realizing about the whole thing of how Batman dies… even if he was saved from brainwashing, what in the world is he going to do? He has literally crossed the line while brainwashed. Even if he got free, there would be no going back, because regardless of the fact that he was under brainiac’s control He would feel the weight of what he has done. What he has done to Robin. When was his armour ever bulletproof? You mean bullet resistance right? Remember in the bossfight they seemed to have shot him multiple times. I'll refer to a few Arkham knight scenes since thats where his armour was the strongest. Jason Todd shot him and he got affected, ingame thugs and militia can kill you if they shoot you enough. Batman had to take on a stealth approach to get close to Jason to avoid being sniped. His bat symbol is the strongest point on his armour used to trick enemies into aiming there which means his other parts of the suit are weaker. I mean realistically Batman would've taken them down quite fast since his more of an efficient guy but oh well...not defending it but I see alot of people saying his armour is bullet proof. I feel like this is supposed to hint that this isn't the real justice league and that Brainiac tried to mimic them....possible theory since there are rumours that leakers are saying all the JLA members are clones and all of the leaks like the Batman death scene seemed to have been true so far so....yea

It's hard to make Batman lose, but it's possible to make him fight properly and still lose. Like if his stealth takedowns fail and he uses Freeflow Combat, dropping a fear toxin grenade every time he gets damaged, I'm sure people wouldn't be complaining nearly as much.
