Hey GameEdged, for the lady, she will approach you several times at first and run away. If you chase her, it is not good. Stand still with no weapons out and let her get as close as she wants. After awhile if you don't chase her, she will get closer and bring you things.

When Virginia shows up, take a step back, when you get close to her befriending you, she will start dancing, sitting around camp, bringing you gifts of food/plants/items, then she will display a backpack icon, you can then give her new clothes and pressing "q" "r" will swap between bag sections, you can then give her pistol, a GPS locator as she does wander off from time to time and a shot gun when found, she gets alot more confident as time goes on and becomes almost deadshot

this might help with Virginia "You’ll spot Virginia for the first time as part of the first mission where you have to find team B. You won’t be able to unlock this mutant girl right away. You will need to be kind to her to get her to trust you. So you definitely shouldn’t act aggressively towards her, or you might lose your chance of getting her as a companion. Every time you see this 3 legged woman just walk towards her with nothing in your hands. It’s important to holster your weapon or any other item from your hands by pressing G. Since companions can do lots of things for you, such as helping you out in combat, being friendly with her is something that you should obviously want to do. Once you befriend her you can give her a shotgun and pistol."

Virginia will watch your character from a distance and will approach you at any time in the game. However, she will act scared and quickly run away as you approach, so don't chase he, let her calmly come towards you. Make sure to be empty handed. 1. Press "G" to holster any items in your hands. 2. Stay still, and calmly continue with any tasks. 3. Do not do anything that could be deemed aggressive. Once you have her as a companion you can change her clothes. You'll know that you have befriended Virginia when she starts acting calm around your base. She may sit down around you, for example, and she may even bring you gifts. Virginia is an excellent forager, and will bring various plants and small animals over time.

I am so fking pissed at Kelvin right now. I was building my main base and was an idiot and didn't save regularly during the construction, was about a hundred logs in when he drops a tree right on the thing. My last save was at about 20 logs in. Worst off apparently he was done getting logs cause I was just standing there looking at the ruins and he came running up and gave me that damned thumbs up. I shot him in the head multiple times then proceeded to reload lol. Really wish I had the whole thing on video.

There should have been another soldier body on that beach where you got the gun. He has the pistol rail which you need for attachments

The pistol respawns every time you load into the game too, so does the rail. That's how I got my 3 legged Forest Waifu and myself pistols.

That green ping you were going to on your way to the gun.... you really want to go in there. There's an unmarked cave, it's not difficult, don't need anything special and you really really want what's in there, its incredibly useful. And you have to actually put the marker on things and on Virginia.

@@gameedged The loot responds every time you load back in, even the gun so once you get Viginia you can give her one and have one for yourself. She's a total lifesaver to be sure. And she has infinite ammo for now at least, dunno how long that'll last. Keep up the great work!

You can push bodies to the edge of the water while swimming so that you are able to grab the bodies while standing on land.

Just go around the beach to the left a bit more folks and take the shortest route to the raft Saves the stress and you can find some lovely loot on the way.

oh there are more resources on the same part of the beach your starting base is on, and in the cave there is a Stun Gun and Rebreather

So I found out Kevin can die if you kill you other then that for what I can tell he will only go down from yhr cannibals. Also you don't have to worry about him eaten or drinking cause he will do it him self. Next time you see Virginia put away your weapons and font approach her. Let him come to you but you are better off ignoring her and letting her do her other thing is the best way on making her friends with you. I hope my tips helps you it's at least I can do for all of the good, amazing vids you make. I really enjoy them. :)

Spoiled meat can be cooked and eaten anyway, it's a bug probably. Even if it spoils again you can cook it again and won't make you sick

You can fight around her lol, but when you see her approach her very slowly and stop she’ll start coming up to you and she’ll let you interact with her after that she’ll start hanging out around you more don’t wanna say to much and spoil the game

Sometimes when I watch your videos of current play in the forest (this new one) I can tell you're traumatized from Green Hell. Example: caution of drinking the water and it giving you the shiats for instance ' classic green hell trauma. 😆

its not bad in tight cave passages but aside from that its meh. It's cool just wish it gave off more light. I find the crafted torch isn't all that bright outdoors either, though much better than the lighter. Haven't got the flashlight yet.

Burning the bodies gives you bones which is used for armor and other weapons and, well, stuff.

You don't chaser her you stand there and stare at her don't move towards her back away from her slowly and she will eventually trust you and if you give her guns she is deadly and she never runs out of ammo she great to have on your side

Stop chasing Virgina. When she runs away stop and let her come back. She is like a wild animal you need to let her get used to you. it might take days. Just walk towards her and then stop when she runs. She will start to come back closer and closer until she is tamed. By the way, there is a shovel in the game it is in a cave but you need the rebreather and the rope gun, from two other caves. She can be handed a GPS track you will find on a hanging body you need to knock down at one of the markers but it is outside not in a cave.

Let's try this again. Do not I say do not run after her. You will never get her trust that way you see her let her come to you. If she get close stand there don't move if she puts her hands up like she is pushing you back back up. That's how you get her trust. Every time you run after her it starts all over. When she finally brings you a gift of lour friends and you can approach her whenever you want.

He's the worker bee. Virginia is your battle buddy. Except for her you don't tell her to do anything she just follows you pretty much everywhere unless she's doing something once you've befriended her. And Kelvin will follow you regardless unless you specifically tell him to stay in my experience.

Why is he/she mad at you because he/she burned himself/herself? LOL And still got caught on fire only to drown. I don't want to laugh. LOL I didn't think they would just attack Maggie like that. You probably recorded these back-to-back before everybody got together last night, but I was hoping you would give her the gun. The game devs need to learn how torches work. The torches don't need to be right in front of the players eyes.

let the girl be man after a while she is going to be ok and sit near your base she wont fear you anymore i heard other youtuber say she can run to special place she never did for me .... i heard kelvin help you with food and building and she suposed to help you fight but am not sure it in the game yet

She will lead you to nearby special things. Like she lead me to the Stun Baton and Can Opener. She comes up to you and motions with her hands for you to follow then runs off.
