I went back and rewatched the entire maze portion of this video. I went back to count. There are THIRTY FUCKING STAGES not even counting death-induced restarts. I feel so sad. What is hope.

I watched from beggining to end Arin... You are my hero... I was 6 years old when i played this game i couldnt find that god damn key. I always had the impression that this was nothing more but a endurance game made just to test you... Only until now when i saw the key im not gonna lie i got startled at first then i cried because i finally saw the key.

These are the episodes I miss, the reason why I started watching Game Grumps back in the day: watching other people play old, terrible games and slowly go mad. Forget two hundred episodes of whatever AAA game just came out; give me twenty minutes of some shit game no one's heard of and I'm smiling.

I almost wish you guys would be able to complete the four levels and go on to the next portion. I owned this game as a kid, and if you think the Fozzy mazes are an existential nightmare, wait until you're platform jumping as Kermit.

You guys may have hated this game but my kitten Pixel loved it! She could not turn away from it, she even attacked the screen a few times to try and catch the characters.

That was one hell of a coma I came out of. I dreamt that I was Arin slowly losing my mind as a searched through a maze of ice cream cones for a key. Glad I made it back to the real world.

To avoid confusion, the phenomena that Arin describes regarding looking at a clock is not actually a change in the perception of time. It's arguably more interesting. It's more commonly known as "the stopped clock illusion," and it's an evolutionary counter to having constantly blurry vision due to eye motion. When you move the focus of your eye, instead of it being very blurry for a moment (which due to how often our eyes move would be almost constant), your brain actually retroactively applies the image, after your eye moves, to the time period that passed while your eye was moving. So while it seems that you obtain focus immediately, your brain is actually constantly editing what you see, cutting out the blur and instead stretching out the final image. As an example, if you look at an analog clock and obtain focus right as a given second starts, the time it takes before the hand moves, according to your eye, would actually be 1 second + whatever length of time it look for your eye to move and focus, which is why that first second seems to take longer. It's hard to explain but there are good videos describing it better than I can if you're interested.

When I was in the hospital, all the machines were quiet until either my BP started dropping, oxygen levels were dropping, or pulse was too fast or slow. The things that sing are the ones on a timer, like the IV drip or automatic BP machine.

Amazing maze should have just been called a taste of hell

I leave Fozzie Bear at the entrance of the maze. One always finds one's burden again. But Fozzie Bear teaches the higher fidelity that negates the gods and fetches dog bones. He too concludes that all is well. This universe henceforth without a master seems to him neither sterile nor futile. Each atom of that dog bone, each biscuit flake of that night-filled maze, in itself, forms a world. The struggle itself toward the void is enough to fill a man's heart. One must imagine Fozzie Bear happy.

I scrolled through the comments and I'm surprised I didn't see anyone correct arin on his theory. The reason you look at a clock and you see the second hand sit in place has to do with the time your mind takes to process information from your eyes. It actually momentarily creates a mental image while your mind catches up to reality.

Okay, so here's the deal. I was playing Sonic Adventure 2 and I went to Chao Garden to raise a chao for some forgotten reason. Long story short, I accidently kicked the thing. It was so much fun that I kicked it again. And again and again and threw it into the wall. Then I decided to buy a chao specifically for the purpose of abusing. I got a purple chao egg and tossed it into the wall. When the little purple bastard came into the world I was waiting to kick him. I did that for a long time, just kicking the chao around and throwing him against the wall and into the water to watch him flail around and hoping he'd drown. I never gave him a name or any small animals to play with or those crystal things to make him stronger. I didn't even bother to feed the damn thing and wouldn't let him sleep. I just kept kicking him and throwing him like a football. When I got bored with the physical abuse I started looking into the psychological torment. First I waited until he was starving then I gave him food only to snatch it away before he could take a bite. Then I'd give the food to another chao to eat while he sat there watching and crying. Then I'd kick him. I'd also pet the other chao or hold it and rock it like a baby while he'd watch. Then I'd kick him. Sometimes he'd scream and run away and I'd chase him and kick him into the water and watch him drown. This continued on until the chao turned 2 (garden time) and went into his egg for the 2nd transformation. I was waiting there to kick him when he emerged but to my surprise the egg was empty. Now what I want to know is this: Did the chao finally die or did it escape somehow? I can't bear the thought of either really but I have to know.

When you move your eye quickly you're not actually slowing your perception of time, you're just filling the space when all you would see is blurriness with the thing you see once your eyes stop. If anything it actually gives you less reaction time because you think you're seeing something happening slower when it's something that's already happened.
