its so refreshing to see honesty in developers. They seem super straight forward.

What makes me want to buy the game is the game developers transparency and honesty more than the game itself. But still, the game alone would hype me enough to buy after seeing some gameplays.

These devs are clearly very passionate about their game. It is good to see the human element in any product these days. Looking forward to playing this

Just finished GoW couple weeks ago. Absolutely amazing. Started playing Detroit today. So damn good aswell. At the end of the summer Spider Man that'll be insane. After that Days Gone, Last Of Us 2, Ghost of Tshushima and Death Stranding. Holy shit Sony stop murdering our wallets 😂😂

Whoever decided to set this whole press event is a genius in my opinion as my first impression of the game was that is looked interesting, then I saw the 2nd trailer which lowered my expectations more but this video series has completely flipped my opinions and I am looking forward to this.

I think so many people are treating this game unfairly. Sony wants to focus on other titles this E3 and they have every reason to, so Bend keeping the ball rolling with this early footage is a good thing. I find these guys to be a really good bunch and my inital reservations of there being only one writer are now mostly laid to rest. This will be a good single player game and with this team, I'm positive I will enjoy the story. However I don't like the current HUD and I think it has to become more immersive and subtle to work for this emotional game.

A studio with beer on tap. That alone makes me want to support these cool devs.

funny to see how they went back on the "sleep through the night" feedback. I think it makes the game better that you can decide to sleep and skip the night and/or inclement weather when you see fit.

The animation and gameplay will be smoothed out by launch. I have faith in bend studio.

I’m still on the fence about this game. I’ve not seen anything that makes me dislike the game... But I haven’t seen anything that makes me want to pre-order/buy it either. I’m not hating on the game, but the developers keep saying “you’ve never played a zombie game like this” and “this is a new and innovative game.” I’ve not seen anything new OR innovative. I guess I’ll just sit back and see how this one plays out.

The more I listen to the developers the more I am really liking what they are all about. I beat the game and it was awesome, platinum trophy here I come!

It would be cool if you could upgrade ur weapons, clothes to have better protection, ability to upgrade and fortify ur camp, and finally recruit survivors to maintain and defend the camp or go on mini runs to get ammo, materials, or gas. I honestly feel like grinding is pointless unless it improves gameplay. It only sucks that the bike is the only vehicle you can use.

Two things I'd like to see fixed right off the bat is the animation for the knife, it kinda just appears and disappears from Deacon's hand rather than an actual sheathing animation, and I would prefer a hit marker rather than an XP counter. It should at least be toggled option. Not as big of a deal, but I'd like to see iron sights on the guns cause I doubt Deacon can perfectly barrel sight every weapon he has.

From what I've seen and heard of this game, I am content with what it has to offer and this is just the first couple of hours of game play, it's a must buy for me. All it needs now is polish, if they can fix that choppy frame rate and fix a few of the animations then this game is going to be awesome.

The Xp thing feels like a it got a pretty simple solution. Make it optional, and also make another option so if you kill something give us feedbank in another way than xp. For example i think its overwatch that does the red hitmarker or something like that when you kill someone (or maybe its when you hit a headshot) and i think that is a very non intrusive way to give feedback on a kill.

Regarding the XP popping up, another solution may be a subtle change in the gamma around the screen, it would provide visual feedback for when an ennemi is killed. Max Payne 3 and GTAV had that and you get used to it really quick.

When they said you dont eat food or water or any animations to rest definitely takes away the reality of surviving in a world like that i mean killing zombies is fun but you need those things to realisticly survive

While Im looking forward to Vampyr and the next Werewolf and Mummy game more then Days Gone (there are not enough of them for one thing) it does look like it can beat the Zombie fatigue enough for me to buy it when it comes out at this point. The PostApocalyptic type Sci Fi Survival Zombie genre (these are not horror games) is overdone but Days Gone looks better then the most of the games in that catagory based on the gameplay footage so far.

I really like what game informer is doing with these games. With these guys and then with The Outer Worlds, it is really helpful and informative. I'm surprised they are able to find a new game every month

I hope to see cutscenes at big breakpoint. I don't want too many cutscenes destrtoying the flow of an open world game
