The best comparison between the two games Arena Breakout (2024) and Escape from tarkov (2016), I will compare the most important similarities, physics, details, textures and special places in the game. The entire video was created by myself (GameLight).
Arena Breakout is a direct competitor to Escape From Tarkov, which was released on phones and will soon be available on modern computers. After the release of the controversial versions of EFT, the creators of Arena Breakout invited players to their game, highlighting the intense competition between these titles. Arena Breakout is a free-to-play tactical military extraction shooter, and in this video I show a detailed comparison between the two games.

Arena Breakout is more intended for beginners because the game helps the player as much as possible by providing access to the map, exit locations, and simplified shooting. EFT is more atmospheric, and beginners will need more time to get into the game due to its more complex mechanics

im pretty sure i saw minefields being used as map borders in other older games, but i was impressed when it turned out they use npc snipers as map borders too. much more immersive than throwing random junk and calling it a wall

You missed these: frag grenades in arena breakout have shrapnel that can cause bleeds, and flashbangs have the same eye effect in close proximity.

EFT is still a good looking game and has some impressive detail, but I gotta say, seeing it side by side with Arena Breakout, it's definitely showing it's age a bit.

There are many small details in Tarkov that were not included in the video, but ABI added a lot of things that were missing in Tarkov. I just recently bought tarkov after playing AB and last night i figured out how shamelessly they copied tarkov maps. Such as map in light house. Almost everything looks exactly like in arena breakouts northridge map. I was able to navigate in lighthouse map because i was so familiar with northridge. Thats how copied it was. But i agree, arena breakout is a good game but it doesnt give me the same feeling of being watched and the same hardcore feeling like in tarkov, i love the game so far. Maybe i will play arena breakoit when it comes out as a full game.😊

@@raivis923 i mean, the game was realeased in realllyy pre alpha, with only like 3 maps being factory, customs and woods, with primitive coding and pretty primitive renders, comparing side to side to an triple A game that tarkov is intending to be, with a small almost friend group dev team and with a country in war, yeah, it seems pretty reasonable as some games planning (famous games) were made in a span of 3 to 8 years

EFT is undoubtedly a blast for the time EFT has been around, but you can see that some games are catching up with the charts. But for a game from 2016 (I think it's that year), it has some exciting graphics.

Items in Arena Breakout have no meaning. What do you do with everything you pick up? There is no crafting or use for the items and i've been through 50 raids and yet to find anything thats actually worth something

The stun nade are absolutely 100% better than Tarkov, i have never encounter anyone using stun in Tarkov except the under barrel. ABI stun nade not only blind, give blur vision, deaf, slow debuff

Breakout will never even get close to Tarkov. The feeling Tarkov brings is totally different. Breakout feels like a generic game, as a mobile game. (as it's... a pure copy of Tarkov) And people never compare how massive and insanely dense is Streets of tarkov. How many rooms and how dense they are. Everytime you play that game, you find something new. For real, i've never seen a game with that amount of variety of itens and how real the town actually looks. Everything in the map makes sense, it feel real!

It was obvious that Tarkov, a game that has been around for 7 years, from a more technical point of view would win by far against a game that only came out this year. Even so, if the developers of Trakov continue with their ingenious ideas of releasing "unheard edition's", Arena Breakout infinite will most likely take the place that Tarkov was occupying for so long.

The weapons can not jam in arena breakout,and also,if a enough amount of bullet hits you in tarkov,you die no matter what,while in AB your character will go down waiting to be reanimated unless they hit you in the head.

Because the smoke grenades in Tarkov are actually depicted correctly, they are signaling devices, have you even actually look up a video of the M18 in action?

@@rymd1875 Yes and it's awful, anyone can see you through the smoke unlike in AB and also he didn't test the other grenades too and other stuff that AB is capable of, this guy is also trying to hide the smoke effect of the gun after firing a whole mag by adjusting the graphics of AB to medium, because in mobile version if you have high graphics the smoke effect is actually showing after firing a whole mag, he also test the flashbang grenade in a very wrong way, he throw the flashbang upwards in tarkov to get the flash effect while in AB he avoided it just to promote that AB flashbang is sh#t than tarkov, his lying and makes a lot of misinformation in here and his not fair to test both of the game

I wasn't trying to show the bad side of ABI; choosing sides between games doesn't make sense to me. There are a lot of small details in Tarkov, like birds, shooting mechanics, bullet ricochet, etc., which were not included in the video. As for the smoke grenade, I didn’t test it because it was not available in Tarkov (a certain level is required), and testing with a homemade smoke grenade would not be correct!

Outside of the QOL, framerate and load times Arena breakout doesn't do anything better than Tarkov. To simply put it, EFT can become Arena breakout if it wanted after 1 update but Arena breakout can never ever become EFT.

To those sayings it’s a stolen clone, that the code was stolen. Arena breakout is a mobile game ported to PC. It’s better imo due to the whole, ya know , it’s mobile.

And the problem with that is?? It's not really a strange thing to do, people did the same with Cyberpunk and GTA5. And those two games release are like what? Over 5 years apart? And then there's Back 4 Blood with Left 4 Dead, and thinking about that one's release just makes me feel old. Anyway point is, there always going be a comparison. Because a good game a lot of the time stays fun no matter when it released.

this video is biased. its clear to you show more of tarkov than arena breakout, for example when you said tarkov had firing pin animation, but so does arena breakout. or when you threw the flashbang, in arena breakout you threw it far away. but in tarkov you threw it closer to yourself. im not saying that Arena Breakout is better than Tarkov (because it isnt) im just saying that this comparison video is dogshit.

its still a beta, you cant compare an free limited beta that just released to a 10 years 45dlrs old "beta", some things are still missing from the mobile version like the smoke from the gun and some animations, its just isn't fair yet

0:51 in mobile, you can also do a voiceline which is different from radio voice like, need bandage and something like that. 5:37 smoke from barrel on high graphics in mobile is much better than tarkov. Id say, its not even 50% close to mobile yet so you will really need to wait until global release to see how good this game actually is.

You throw a grenade on shallow water in arena and on EFT in a deep one?. I need to throw on in a shallow to see this in eft . I believe shoreline would most likely be the only map i know with shallow water . And the glass a window vs a car window?. Why. Cause you know they don't brake. Dude is so bias lol . You should Compare the right way. I am sure arena does have a few thing on there effects, but by doing this it just rises flags here. That maybe arena isn't really good. At the end of it all both games aren't on full release, so i should be to up on the comments. My bad. 🙌 . Just did that water thing. And yea it does splash water upwards, but not to much.

Il used to love EFT but the optimization is litteral dogshit and the gameplay just always get slower and more painful and to finish the wipes system is so annoying
