@@Guardian2 well, think about it logically. To our knowledge minus one has no fight experience with another kaiju while Gamera has been alive for centuries and has fought countless battles. Gamera also has a speed advantage over Godzilla, meaning Gamera could easily attack Godzilla from different angles at a faster rate. And before you say that minus one Godzilla could easily roast Gamera with his atomic breath, the breath weapon has to charge up for a good 10 to 15 seconds, leaving Godzilla vulnerable, and I don’t think Gamera would wait and miss an opportunity to attack Godzilla while he’s vulnerable for that long.

@@The_Orange_Sonic Speed and experience are definitely good points. But I don't see him having the actual power to do anything meaningful. Plus, Gamera has a history of losing fights, retreating before he can be killed, and then coming beack later with a way to win. If that pattern keeps up, all Minus One has to fo is fry him before he can escape. Though I will be transparent here, I still have yet to actually watch the movie since I was waiting for an english translation

⁠⁠@@Guardian2while it is true that Gamera is known to retreat the first time in a fight, that is how Showa Gamera rolls, if you pay attention during the trilogy, Gamera only retreated in a fight because there was something more important going on somewhere else. Take for instance the scene in “G2 Attack of legion” where Gamera had to flee the fight because the seed in Sendai was about to erupt and pollute the earths atmosphere, or like in “G1 Guardian of the Universe” where Asagi forced Gamera to retreat by controlling him with the bead she possessed, and Gamera never retreated during “G3 Revenge of Iris”, in fact he pushed him self during that movie because he knew that the consequences of letting Iris go was too dangerous. Also the argument of Gamera not possessing any kind of power to hurt minus one is debunked by one small thing. While Godzilla is definitely more powerful than Gamera, that doesn’t mean he’s more durable, and yes we did see that Godzilla is not hurt by conventional weapons, he can be hurt by them in close combat. Take of instance the scene where Godzilla climbed on top of the Takao, Godzilla got shot by the ships guns in a close proximity of his body and as we saw this knocked Godzilla off the ship and even made him roar in pain, and it is obvious that Gamera is definitely more powerful than gunshots by the Takao so if Godzilla and gamera got in close combat with each other, Gamera could get the upper hand by biting and scratching at Godzilla’s body. So by all of that logic, if Gamera flew quickly at Godzilla with a spinning shell he would cut Godzilla in half, or he could burn Godzillas skin with his plasma fire balls at a close range distance.

Gamera is very powerful, yet not as durable as Godzilla, and it's a known fact that his regeneration time is slower than Godzilla's. Also look at the kaiju Godzilla has faced and then look at Gamera's foe's (with the exception of the awesome Irys). Irys is the only one Godzilla would have some trouble with, whereas, almost every foe of Godzilla's, would badly beat or even kill Gamera!! Don't get me wrong, I freakin' love Gamera, he'd definitely get some licks in on Godzilla, but he sure as hell ain't "killing" him!!

If Gamera were to enter the Monsterverse, it's gonna be a "Godzilla vs Gamera", but then the real evil Titan shows up and they team up. Sounds familiar? Yeah, because Batman and Superman already did that.

Strictly speaking humanity has come far closer to bringing down Gamera then Godzilla, but realistically even if both are alphas it’d probably be similar to Godzilla and Kongs relationship, hostile at first but later becoming allies to an extent

It's important to know which version of Godzilla and which version of Gamera it is. I'm a much bigger Godzilla fan than a Gamera fan, so I don't know much about the versions of Gamera, but I know the 17 Godzilla versions (and have watched all the movies and almost all the TV shows) and a few Gameras. For instance, Rebirth Gamera can solo Zilla 1998 but would be absolutely destroyed by Heisei Godzilla.

For any fans interested: death battle filmed this scenario and gamera didn't stand a chance. Godzilla is too big, too strong, too resilient, and just too powerful. He is, after all, the King of the monster for a very legitimate reason
