Whenever i see gameplay like this, it makes me wonder what this must look like in universe. Ellie having precognition and supernatural reflexes to take down hordes of enemies for fun must be fucking terrifying

This guy is the very essence of Ellie’s rage at the ex-fireflies. Headshotting a killed man with a shotgun.

This game was a real expansion from the first one. More action, more ways to take people out, amazing dialogues even when Ellie is fighting. Its all so much more better!

Hillcrest is one of the best third person shooter levels ever made as far as I'm concerned. It's so detailed and dynamic. You can play it in stealth or you can go in super aggressive like this. The AI does not fuck around either, they'll hunt you down hard.

why is no one talking about how cinematic the shot at 8:43 looked. The way the dog flies back and perfectly lands on it's owner, and the physics... shit looked like it had to be a cutscene.

Over halfway through the game and this level so far was by far the hardest starting at 5:45. The enemies just did not stop coming.

Gonna be honest, I’ve beaten this game three times on grounded and definitely NEVER knew you could jump off the roof and strike like that. Awesome

the combat system this game offers is something so great, unique and enjoyable

Even if you don’t like the story (I love it) you gotta admit the combat and gameplay of P2 is probably one of the best in a 3rd person shooter ever, period.

There's so many motions and attacks and interactions. It literally never feels repetitive! So impressive

The way the characters interact with the environment is absolutely spectacular. It reminds of the gameplay reveal for The Division when he closed the car door while taking cover. Incredibly satisfying.

Man I felt unusually impressed that the enemy with the sniper rifle actually stuck to his role and stayed at a distance, even after possibly hearing the shotgun. Maybe that's not as uncommon for AI in games as I think it is, but I still felt it was a nice touch.

This is really impressive. I’ve done encounters plenty of time and enemies don’t always have the same behaviours/reactions every try, so it can get difficult to learn their decisions/actions. You should also put No HUD in the description.

These type of gameplay videos lighten my day.

I'm big on saving ammo and using stealth, so i love watching other people play aggressively and use such satisfying methods of killing everyone.

Something about this gamea combat is just so satisfying. The dodge into sprint or dodge into prone dive always feel so good in the heat of the moment.

Tbh (might get a lotta h8 4 it too), I was considering on buying the 1st one a lil after it came out but after watching some gameplay videos and seeing how you could literally be invisible to an enemy while physically right in front of them was kind of a deal breaker. Was highly considering it cuz heard good reviews on the story line though and I actually do enjoy a good narrative. This however, this looks stunning, started watching like "mm, okay, this looks pretty cool" to being on the edge of my seat in suspense. Think I'ma have to go for it and get both games (if the second starts where the 1st one ends) thanks to videos like these that display the potential of the game. 🍻
