I've been playing Tales of Zestiria and I'm fully hooked. Even the Tales of games that get mediocre reviews are still really fun. It just goes to show how good the Tales series is. Kim is killing me in this video too. Johnny's just going off about nerdy stuff and her facial expressions are too funny. You guys are hilarious

I’m playing DQ11. I’m about 10 hours in. I’ve previously played DQ1, 2, and 4. It’s very interesting the amount of throwbacks there are to old DQ games. The music, the slimes, and many other similar items make this feel like a remaster of an old DQ game. I’ve enjoyed it so far. I wouldn’t say I’m hooked yet - more so that I appreciate what they are doing with the game. I hope I get hooked soon.

Finally picked back up XC3 after dropping it shortly after launch due to not having enough free time. On chapter 5 and loving it. So glad I got back into it

I've been playing FFXII Zodiac Age on PS5. I finished everything in the original PS2 game about 18 years ago, and decided to replay it since the Zodiac version was in the PS Plus catalogue. I'd forgotten how much I actually enjoyed the world setting and tweaking the gambit system. It's a very divisive Final Fantasy, but I am personally someone who loves it, particularly the hunting aspect. I prefer its implementation of action alongside turn-based combat to that of FF7R which I enjoyed but felt more chaotic at times.

I love when Kim joins you! I've just finished atelier ryza and likely moving straight into the sequel in anticipation for the third one. I have my eye on fire emblem engage as well so I'm glad to hear you're enjoying it so far!

I finally got around to getting Elden Ring earlier this month and I'm essentially glued to it. Even having played a lot of great games in the past couple years it's been some time since I've been so addicted and have had this much fun with a game. Started Fire Emblem Engage as well.

Thanks for the awesome videos I love catching up with you guys! I’ve recently been trudging my way through all of the Xenoblade games and just finished 2 today. That bridge scene in chapter 10 had me crying for about 30 minutes straight, 10/10 amazing game! On to Torna then 3 :)

The Witcher three has been on my backlog for ever. I had started it once and got about a quarter of the way through and then got distracted. With the new NexGen patch that they released I decided to finally go and finish it. Loving it. Also, just finishing up. Call for Ragnarok and starting fire emblem engage. About to start on crisis, core remaster, and then Hogwarts legacy after that. Then I’ll get to the Horizon for bidden West, DLC.

Chained Echoes has been such a refreshing rpg experience. The addiction is real. Great combat and story. You can feel the love in this game. Can’t recommend it enough. Everyone needs to play it.

with regards to combat in RPGs, I am a lot like you, i like both the turn based and the action, would like to see more modern turn-based systems.

I’ve been playing the Dead Space remake and it’s the game I didn’t know I needed. I was originally going to pass on it because I wanted Callisto Protocol to be my Dead Space fix. Sadly I just couldn’t get into it, chiefly because of the melee combat. I picked up the Dead Space remake after hearing the initial good buzz, and I’m pleasantly surprised. I dig many of the the changes, they changed just enough to make it feel fresh-but kept a lot of things you remember. This is survival-horror comfort food and I can’t wait you hear your thoughts on it John!

Thanks for your nice video. :) I am still playing Tactics Ogre Reborn on the PS5. I freakin' love it. This Remake is so good, it makes an already fantastic game even better. I played the PlayStation-version back then, played the PSP-version and now Reborn. In my opinion, Tactics Ogre is one of the best or maybe even the best SRPG ever made.

I've been playing FE Engage as well. Really fun so far. Good looking game. My only gripe is the story is kinda goofy but I got over it.

I am playing Chained Echoes right now. What a beautiful game. I am planning on play Hi Fi Rush after that.

Been playing Treasures myself and Danganronpa V3, two very different games! I really love Treasures! Maybe I've took my time with it but I'm certainly over the 30 hour mark, I'm trying to do and find everything I'm enjoying it that much!

I've been playing Judgment on the PS4. I've played all the other Yakuza games and thoroughly enjoyed them, but I'm liking Judgment even more. Super solid game with so much variety and an overwhelming number of things to do/explore!

Been playing FE3Houses. Really enjoying the heck out of the game. I am a fairly recent owner of a Switch OLED, but I do have some games ready to go: FEW3Hopes, Bravely Default 2, Tokyo Mirage Sessions FE, DioField Chronicles, Trails from Zero Deluxe Edition, XBC3, Mary Skelter 1 and 2, and Banner of the Maid.
