"The Infinite and the Divine" and "The Twice-Dead King" Duology have proven to me that the Necron are in a weird way extremely human. They cling to obsessions to not go insane, because the moment they focus on their existence as just machines they break. I loved how Orikan freaked out and was horrified by the unfeeling god-thing he became while ascended. To become so alien to himself, that he was screaming, if it was gone...to request reassurance from Trazyn. And the revelation to Oltyx that the flayer virus is not a curse (or virus), but the endless and strong desire to be alive in a warped fashion. And of course that he is Valgûl.

I also love how "accurate" Trazyn acts. I can't describe it, but he behaves in the exact manner I'd expect from an immortal history nerd

Give Trazyn somthing interesting like his own Monolith or other vehicle or make it so he can bring some other factions with him like a sisters squad from his museum

That would be sick, imagine running trazyn means you can attach a squad or two from any faction from 40k, up to X amount of points cost, and in return you can attach trazyn to any army with the ‘order’ tag

I don't know why, but these models and memories weekly videos always inspire me to pick up my pliers and brushes. It's the perfect pregame before jumping into a 4 hour modeling sesh. It's the metaphorical ice cold shot of vodka before drinking 12 beers and watching Empire Strikes Back

Your season 1 blood bowl set is fine to play, but I'd highly recommend that you grab the season 2 rulebook. It's got rules for every team in the back, and there are a few tweaks to stats that make the game better to play

Just wanted to say I appreciate your videos. I collect 40k, though don’t play. I work 11-13 hour days in construction on average and coming home to find a vid of yours when I hit the couch is always nice. Moved away some time ago, never had any friends who were into it. Nice to share some excitement & pick up painting tips through your content.

I hope to see a updated Zahndrekh and Obyron one day, they’re very fun characters in the necron lineup, still somber and melancholy in actually but the shenanigans they are involved in is a lot like trayzn and Orikan with their own obsessions. I like the lighthearted necrons to balance out stoic and crazed ones

I love Blood Bowl and have an active league in my area. I'm currently running the White Hand (Black Orc) with Saruman as the coach. As for the second season box it gives you an Imperial Human and Black Orc team, a large player for each team (Ogre and Troll) and a star player for each of them. It also comes with two refs and the more current rule set. The teams from the season 1 box are still playable. There are also a wide variety of high quality proxies out there for Blood Bowl.

Blood Bowl is awesome. There are plenty of 3rd party miniatures out there. As long it is on a 32mm base (or a 40mm base for a big guy), and you have a pitch, you're good to go.

You should paint a Blood Bowl team! This is the best game GW makes! they have team pitches for each team. they are just hard to find. all you need to play is the core rule book and you are set. when you buy a team the rules some in the box with them.

You need the season two rulebook, threre has been quite a few changes including bringing bsck the passing skill. The season two box is really good value, with the rulebook and Imperial Nobility and Black Orcs and two star players and two refs, all of which were very fun to paint

The problem with necrons is that there’s not enough meant on their designed bones. So that their character models look like what the infantry should.

The season two blood bowl starter set is really good. I’d be tempted just to pick that up. Two teams, two big guys, two star players and the refs. Plus the rule book is really nice.

Gret video. Cheerleaders for Blood Bowl YES PLEASE. Im saddened by the loss of Nemesor Zahndrekh and Vargard Obyron. Their story is sad but great, showing how loyalty can survive all. Im so glad i have both of them.

Blood Bowl! The cheerleaders are essentially tokens too. You can hire cheerleaders in the game, and having them can give benefits in certain situations, but aren't necessary. Fans are also a similar stat too, so I am surprised they haven't made Forgeworld fan models too. The only part of the boxed set you have that is no longer relevant is the rulebook. The board, rulers, dice and models are all compatible with the Second Season rulebook, so you could just grab that and go. The teams are also different between the two boxes, but you can also get them separately, and arguably the two you have are better anyway. (IMO)

Blood Bowl is great game - and pretty easy to get into miniature wise: minimum of 11 miniatures per team. Basic rules can be bought separately.

All the deleted Necron characters and Lords can just be Lychguard with warscythes or Triarchs with rods of covenant depending on if they have warscyrhes or staffs of light. Assuming you have enough to get to the minimum squad sizes. What I plan to do with my 10 Lords from the Royal Court days since I already have an ark-load of Overlords.

Jay, there is a massive 3rd party community for blood bowl so you can find fans for most of the factions As for blood bowl first season, you can use everything in the box and just get updated rules.

My guess for Trazyn is that he will return for the end edition event (whatever they make to replace arks of omen) to be the driving force behind the lore jump to 11th (serving the same narrative role as vashtorr)

Bloodbowl is amazing to get into! Each team has it's own pitch with unique rules! It's such an easy game to get people into the hobby, and yes! You can just buy the book and some teams

They did make a human referee and some cheerleaders for the 3rd edition bloodbowl and you were supposed to use Wizards and shamen as coaches.

The Aussie Ozploitation horror film "Razorback" was filmed around Broken Hill, where Mad Max 2 was filmed, and starred a giant feral "Razorback" pig. And pigs powered Bartertown in Mad Max 3! So mutant feral pigs definitely exist in the Mad Max universe, and would fit well with Jay's Mad Max Orks🐗

I wish for like characters they would move to made for order permanently, so you can order them if you want but they don't have to produce stock they won't sell. But I can understand them wanting to move away from failcast.

The cheerleaders are a thing in the game. As are refs and fans. They are all upgrades you can get for your roster. For example, if my team has a cheer rating of 3, I would put 3 cheerleaders on the sideline. If I buy a bribe, I would stick a ref on my sideline to represent. They arent "in" the game, but the models to help represent your roster.

I preordered the Necrons codex and combat patrol box and a day later, heard they were getting nerfed. It does kind of suck, I bought the Necron half of Indomitus and now the Re-animators are bad I guess. I still want to learn 10th more than I did 9th(which I didn't at all, I bought 9th edition and they sat on the shelf)
