Even though this run wasn't finished it still shows us that the reality of speedrunning is that not every run will finish and unforseen things can and will happen even despite the best of preparations. Thank you for the run anyway, it was very well presented as usual Omni.

Cool to see metal warriors, I had a lot of fun playing it back in the 90's. That softlock was unfortunate but hopefully we get to see the game again at another gdq.

Played this game so much in high school, it's such a hidden gem and has a really fun versus mode. Excited to see someone actually play it well, unlike myself.

What an incredible run and you did a fantastic job with the commentary. As unfortunate as that softlock was at least you were near the end, got to showcase the bulk of the game, and I've no doubt discovering it will turn out to be hilarious and retrospect and highlight of the marathon.

i can't believe metal warriors was in agdq and I missed :/ i have seen a lot of omnigamer speedruns, this guy is great sorry that it end up like that hope to see it complete in the next agdq

What a rad game! Shame about the softlock, but this was a very entertaining run regardless. I have to say, I LOVE they have a "That's never happened before" animation for the timer field. Kudos to all!

It was a fun run up until that softlock! Kinda sucks but as you said, these things happen. Great job, omnigamer! I played this game years ago but never got very far, never even knew there was a spider mech!

Loved this game as a kid. Only played the versus mode with friends. I've never seen the story mode.

Too bad for the softlock but still a great run. Only 16 minutes to get to the final mission is something that sounds impossible especially because of the tediousness of the tower stage. Wish this game got more love especially because of the vs mode which is pretty entertaining.

What you were able to run was great, man, but that has to be the absolute worst way to discover a soft lock or other run-ending glitch. It just straight up sucks that that happened to you, dude.
