Read this and was like yeah okay it was actually kind of a weak applause then the run ended and I realised there was like 10 people watching, not the hundred or so I assumed. Shows how good the explanation and skills were from salvner.

@@firmtomato7226 It's to be expected though. The big games will draw a crowd where not everyone is equally passionate about the game. Other, less played games will have very dedicated and interested crowds, it's the same as a big venue concert vs small venue concert.

honestly, just take your prawn (with drill) and search the lost river for it. it's actually not that bad, even through the blood kelp corridor (near lifepod 2), where there's a juvenile ghost leviathan. there's lots of nickel scattered around, and you can even find it outside of the brine. good luck! also, bring the prawn in your cyclops, and make sure you have the grapple arm too, or getting out will be HELL.

Subnautica wasn’t really designed to be scary. It anything, fear was a secondary aesthetic, and even then it’s only that way to people who have a fear of the ocean (which albeit is a very common fear). Now if you’re trying to speedrun Alien: Isolation, that’s a completely different story.

I to have a phobia of deep water but I actually had no problem with this game. You do need to get past a few jump scares and panic a few times though, but at that point it becomes almost therapeutic :) That being said, if you've seen any more footage than this I would wager that it wouldn't be as enjoyable as the blind run I was blessed with :P This is probably also a game that has very low replay value for most people (including me) but I feel like it's worth the price anyway, seeing that it's hardly more than you would pay to eat out at a reasonably fancy place or go watch a movie with friends etc. etc. ^^
