I was fortunate enough to be selected by Gamesir to review their new Bluetooth controller that is actually compatible with both Android and IOS platforms. For those interested in the giveaway details, all that is required is for you to like and comment on this video. I've been eyeing this controller to play Genshin in mobile, but I'm unsure if it won't be the cause of my account getting banned, as Mihoyo has a history of banning players using 3rd-party controllers in Honkai Impact 3rd...

@@DameTech Thanks for the reply, as there are some online posts and forum saying otherwise. Hopefully Mihoyo gets their crap together and add the controller support already for Android. I would get one (the USB Type-C version) once I'm employed again... Damn that company downsizing :(

I ordered this a couple of days ago, I’m so geeked to get it. And bought it just for Genshin impact. Been playing on PlayStation for ah while now and but I recently got a new phone and my old gamepad just wasn’t big enough for my new phone, so I’m hoping this fits my phone!

That's actually a nice product. I have the nintendo switch as well, so i could imagine the comfort if i played genshin impact on my phone :D But when you tilted the device and showed the top angle, i noticed that the device frame was pretty thin, which made me wonder how strong the device is to keep my phone in place.

I too had the same doubts, but it still seems to work after a week of testing. I checked on amazon and no one is complaining about the integrity of the device, but more connectivity with certain games.

The thing that I found out is that you don't need to use the G-force mode to play codm. You can use the xbox mode by pressing the on/off button with the b button. Then when you connect the controller to your phone, codm with register as a xbox controller

Sorry, as for android it doesn’t naturally detect controller. You must “map keys” through the Gamesir controller to get controller to work for game. Only iOS naturally works with Genshin. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/ocVdhLJymd6dZ30.html This will teach you how to map

Use Noelle's shield to counter the Geovishap's primordial attack it will do massive damage to him, also using a shield matching his element will do more damage, he also drops little orb things that act as a shield as well if you don't want to use Noelle.

Yeah. In order to work for android you have to connect via gamesir and not Xbox controller

What's the difference between one of these and just using a phone clip attached to a ps4 controller for example?

I’d say these controllers are more similar to the feel of the switch where everything feels as one piece and easier to game and hold. Controller clips can feel more weighted and for some more cumbersome

Strange I received one today from Amazon. And 🤔 there is no power button next to the type-c connection. It's just flat. When I connect to the phone it synchronize directly. But what does this mean 😅

hi,I brought gamesir X2 bluetooth but why I still can't use gamesir X2 bluetooth on my realme 6?I have try used the gamesir app but play protect deny my access to download the app,and use octopus n mantis still can't connect to realme 6,help me,maybe I connect it wrong? Please explain,thank you.

If your unable to download gamesir app through play store, you can also type gamersir app and look for a APK file online on the internet to download application to phone. You’ll need app installed in order for controller to work sadly with android devices.

It depends. Aiming on controller is so much better. But moving camera around I prefer touch. I wish they allowed both at the same time.

That’s a great point. However, I did figure it was important to mention just in case any iOS users buy thinking they can do the same key mapping that is available for android. Just didn’t want to cause any confusion

@@DameTech I completely understand. My main gripe is how Apple has this "walled garden" which severely restricts users from the full benefits of what something can do. Ios devices are just as capable as android, but are limited to what Apple "approves" of.

@@Allamant22 I’ve used it quite a bit for my s21 ultra and OnePlus and no ban so far. So I don’t think so. Plus controller support is supposed to be coming next patch. But I wouldn’t get the gamesir x2 controller just yet. Gamesir just sponsored me again for their F8 Pro Snowgon controller that came out this month. I just got it in the mail today and already without even testing i think it’s better - especially for Genshin Impact.
