There is no ribbon cable, the springs that hold the two sides together also double as power/signal cables.

One of the buttons in my controller (the X button) needs to be clicked hard in order to work. All the other buttons work fine with just a gentle tapping. Is there a way to fix that one button?

Had my gamepad for only a month before the type c port started acting up. Can't connect unless it's in a very specific vertical angle. Bummer..

I was about the same, which is extremely disappointing I have since got the Bluetooth model, and no issues so far

@@rickstechrepairs would've done the same but the Bluetooth version doesn't work with the Egg Ns Nintendo switch emulator. Only the type C version works with it 😭

Same problem there are no replacement for their shitty products no available spare parts mine got broken after aweek of used I tried to look for type c connector replacement but there's nothing! What a disappointment.

They don't sell them. GameSir has a patent on this specific plug and you won't find it anywhere else.

My friend I did find a solution for you because, they can send the part but they asking order transaction screenshot after that they will send a new USB C flex cable. I have only one problem my gamepad is not Gamesir but the Shadow blade 2 from redmagic, my intention was try to fix the part from Gamesir because its exactly the same gamepad.

One thing I've noticed is the Rubber pads at the left don't make contact with a bare phone, so if your phone isn't in a casing while you're using it, all the tension of the spring mechanism goes into the USB port which is very likely to damage it. So I recommend resisting the urge to play with a bare phone inside for better head dispersion; get a spare case and cut the bottom to use as padding, use one of those cases that don't cover the rear or cut open the rear yourself

Following a post on reddit, I cut the bottom padding near the male type c connector, I use a very thick case and it barely connected so I guess it's a good thing?

It most likely bent in the first place because you lut the phone in incorrectly like alot of videos show. Extend it first and slide it into the phone, do not put the type c in first.

i have many telescopic controllers and every single of them is broken, the main cause is they use ribbon that is always worn-out with every stretch of the controller, thank god gamesir didn't use ribbon, this is god sent for me, but i chose bluetooth over the type-c, because I've done research and found out that there will be always be faulty on the port, how matter how yoy avoid it will always worn out too.

After owning the type C model, the Bluetooth model has been working much better, no stupid drop outs or anything

I thought this controller was awesome when I first had it. It just worked on my Android phone, no need to configure it. Now it appears to be totally broken. It will no longer connect to my S21 FE, it just flashes the connection light. The manual doesn't contain a trouble-shooter, pathetic. Should have just bought a Razor. 🤔😠

Came here to see if the analog module uses Switch/Vita or PS4/Xbox and it seems like it used the latter. Seems like it has a PCB where you solder the modules. Very nice atleast it's not directly soldered in the main board just like the PS4. Hopefully they sell this analog boards too but if not it can be easily fabricated because I assume it only redirects the voltage hence no components. Thanks for the video, very informative
