It allows them to talk in-depth about their deck without the other person knowing, which is always helpful if you want to surprise people. Tom would be super careful if he knew how much instant buff and removal cards Lewis has. =P

This is an awesome channel, I like the tone and the relaxed feeling casual as well as the conversations with the audience.. Explaining what you are doing ahead of time is really interesting, so I hope even in future videos where you are not catering to new players for sponsored content you do this.

Very interesting! I've never been into Magic that much, but now that i'm a bit more hooked on Hearthstone since the last expansion, and your Humble Bundle had Faeria in it, I am really intersted in this kind of stuff! :D I am really looking forward to see the battles!

Make sure you read the cards correctly. You can use more than one creature for Crew costs. The total power for creatures tapped has to be equal to or greater than the Crew cost.

That is true, but ideally you want to only have 1 creature crewing a vehicle, which is why Lewis was happy with the synergy of his trains and the daredevils.

Also true, but then you've got vehicles like Sjin's Demolition Stomper that has Crew 5, which becomes much more difficult to do with just one creature. Lewis has the right idea with the daredevils, but if I've got some 1/1 Servos sitting around, I'd much rather use those.

Lewis any combination of creatures can crew as long as they meet the requirement IE. 4 1/1s can pilot the train.

One mistake you made, Lewis. Menace doesn't mean it's unblockable. It means it requires 2 or more monsters to block it. So, it's not unblockable, but it's certainly harder to block.

Love the magic videos, but Duncan needs to read that 'Panharmonicon' and what its ability does. It only works if things entering the battlefield cause an existing permenants ability to trigger. I made the same mistake! ;)

Wrong. "Panharmonicon affects an artifact or creature’s own enters-the-battlefield triggered abilities as well as other triggered abilities that would trigger when an artifact or creature enters the battlefield. Such triggered abilities start with “when” or “whenever.”" gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?multiverseid=417799

Yes. It gives double etb trigger on the card played and any other card that triggers from that card entering. That is the ruling from WotC.

PSA: panharmonicon only doubles enter the battlefield effects and the lifegain on aetherflux reservoir is a cast trigger and isn't affected by panharmonicon.

@GamesNight no it does not double the amount of life gain you gain from that. panharmonicon says it doubles when an artifact or creature enters whatever permanent in play cares about them entering. Aether resevoir says WHEN YOU CAST A SPELL. it has not even entered yet. They have absolutely no interaction whatsoever.

Not to mention places such as Games Workshop might possibly have them and also your local GAME store. I know the one I work in got them in loads when people bought them, but the second they stopped getting the interest they stopped selling them, so if you go to a GAME store you can probably find them somewhere and they may start getting it in more as well.

Waterstones bookshop stocked a few at one point, not sure if they still stock them.There are shops that still specialize in board/ card games. I can name 4 shops within an hour of me.

you can go past 60, but it's not recommended. It's just adding more cards to get in your way when you need a good combo or powerful spell

I think that panharmonicon is stupid powerful if it triggers on other panharmonicons. Get two of them out like you have I think you've basically got quadrupling of the effect, twice. So Card A: gain 1 life Outcome: Panharmonicon A on Panharmonicon B: 2x Panharmonicon B on Panharmonicon A: 2x Panharmonicon B on Card A: gain 4 life Panharmonicon A on Card A: gain 4 life 8 life gained. No?
