Okay, that moment of seeing Golden Freddy twitching, those two notes reverberating into the silence… That gets me. Because of how tragic it is. Yes, Afton did horrible horrible things and I don’t think Golden Freddy shouldn’t be angry, but that scene just cements how sad it is. That their anger and rage is keeping them there to torture their killer instead of moving onward to peace and rest like the other children’s souls.

Honestly, it would've made more sense if "the one you should not have killed" was Charlotte, Henry's daughter, because she was the one who gave a second life to all of William's victims who are the ones tormenting him in his purgatory. Plus she was the first one who William killed.

I love how Happy Frog says "I will never let you rest." Like bro, it don't matter if Cass lets William rest, if she keeps him here, he suffers. But....If she lets go, he will get insta-popped into Hell. Like Henry said in FNAF 6. Cassidy is the only thing keeping William from Hell. That's why Gabriel, Fritz, Jeremy and Susie let go early. Since it's generally accepted that Cassidy is "the one you should not have killed", I'm kinda curious about something. Although the whispery voice behind the animatronics DOES sound more female, I'm kinda curious why multiple characters refer to them as a male. The later Fazbear Frights books introduced Andrew but I doubt it was intended for there to be two vengeful spirits present and threatening Will (Cassidy and Andrew). Was it just a random thing that we don't need to focus on anymore? I dunno.

I think "The one you should not have killed" doesn't mean the other murders were ok. I just means that of all victims, this was the only one powerful enough to keep you in a living hell forever. The fatal mistake you shouldn't have made. Maybe it's even simpler than that: N victims were necessary to generate enough hate and resentment to create this living hell. The one you should not have killed could have been anyone of them, as long as it was the last one, upgrading the number of victims from N-1 to N. Basically, the one "too many" you shouldn't have killed.

Elizabeth's room has no use after her death, and they probably kept her things in the same place. Empty tomb? They never found Elizabeth's body, so there was never anything to bury.
