Totally agree with your comments on every figure. I went as far as to buy 2 Cloud AC versions because I wanted to display 1 with him on the Fenrir and the other in a standing pose. Being a big fan of videogames and anime, Gametoys has become my favorite company. Well, them and *ahem* Rocket Toys.

Love FF7. A long time fan of the series. Couldn't get Sephiroth cause TW screwed me over. Manage to get AC Cloud, pre-order Tifa and Noctis from kit. Speaking of Noctis. You'll like the FF15 a lot. Im actually doing a replay of the game right now. The storyline isn't so great and a little confusing if you didn't play all the dlc or watch the movie. The overall theme of the game, in my opinion, is brotherhood, and that's where the game shines. The battle system can get chaotic, but the real fight is against the camera and the amount of threes that obscure your view. lol Oh, and a quick tip. If you get the chance to change the Regalia. Change it to Regalia-D, especially at night, you'll thank me later. 😁

I want a Clive from FF16 (and even better, Jill to go with him. Also, Gav hah) but I dunno how likely that'll be or what the timeline would be if they ever did it. The fandom is sadly divided over FF16 - but personally, as a lapsed FF fan, the game previews were throwing up all the red flags yet I got it and played it anyway and ended up loving it, my favourite game of last year. Let's hope the head of GT felt the same way! hah

I got both Cloud and Sephiroth but I can't wait till I can get my hands on Zack and Tifa as well. I really wish that gametoys would include the incredible bases from vts. Figure wise, gametoys totally killed it. Thank you for making a video about your thoughts on gametoys's figure line! You are always on point with your videos!!!

This is a great video Will! Your AC Cloud video convinced me to lift my 3rd party ban and pick up the best 1/6 Cloud figure out there. It's awesome to see FF7R Cloud, Sephiroth, and Zack, too, just sad I missed out on them. I got Tifa on PO and will for sure get Aerith and AC Sephiroth if they do make it to PO. I also heard Gametoys may be doing a Honey Bee Inn Cloud.... but I'd be down for Yuffie and Vincent too. What about Cid and Caet Sith? I heard that Gametoys is trying to go licensed as Rocket Toys, so I wonder how that will effect things?

Hmm I think game toys is close to being the best Final Fantasy 7 Collectibles but I think I prefer the fanart statues of Cloud and Tifa not so much the new Sephirot and also the 1/4 Cloud Advent Children statue by dream boat studio nonetheless this is just my opinion there's no real right answer lol one thing I am happy about is that at least we do have options now whether it's figures or statues

Will, what’s your advice to collectors who are late to the FF7 1:6 figure line? I didn’t jump on the bandwagon until the PO for Tifa (GT) and Aerith (Toys Era) but still want a Cloud and Sephiroth. Will GT reissue or another 3rd party (like Toys Era) step up? Or just bite the bullet and pay the secondary market prices.

Yo, Sabin! If you want Cloud and Sephiroth I prob wouldn't pay aftermaket prices unless you can get them under $400, but it's gonna be hard to do that. I'd wait for the AC Sephiroth announcement to pick him up. For Cloud, I'd either try to pick up an AC now, or wait for the rebirth cloud they'll likely do later. If your're not patient though, go aftermarket.

@@WillFoxificationhow much was Cloud originally (w/ & w/out Bike)? Seems to be selling for about a grand w/bike now. So at least double. Not a fan of the AC outfits, so I might have to splurge for Remake or be patient for Rebirth - not sure how big a difference there is between the 2 games, if any. Thanks for your advice.

I saw Cloud and his bike at my local store where I get my HT figures from, now I don’t know if its the FFVII Remake version or the Advent Children version, but the price was $500.00 CAD last I checked.

Is the cloud remake seamless arm same material as the cloud AC version full upper body? Or is the AC version full upper body seamless a different material and an upgrade?

it's actually a different tone and type of silicone on remake as it was gametoys first figure. The AC version has a fully seamless torso and arms, yes!

@@WillFoxification I saw the manual for the remake Cloud and the promotional art for AC Cloud Remake Version Material: TPE (from Cloud Remake manual) -cannot be heated at high temperature -Long time bending may lead to wrinkles and cracks. AC Version Material: Medical Grade Silica Gel (from Cloud AC Promotional Art) -Tensile resistant, there is no need to worry about creases after long term bending -can be put in various poses -not easy to dye dark clothes -resistance to high and low temperature I wonder if AC version can stay in poses like having the sword on his shoulder for longer period of time without breaking the elbow side of the silicon since AC version material has more tensile resistance, haven't seen a single AC version yet with critical damaged silicon. Gametoys also seems more confident for giving AC version full upperbody silicon if they are aware of the previous versions issue. I wonder if anyone ever tested that out.

Is there any difference in the outfit between AC Sephiroth and FF7 Sephiroth? Or would gametoys just be making an AC Sephiroth to basically reissue it?

It's a good question! They are a little bit different yes. Shoulder pads are different, waist, and a few other things. It should be a new figure.

Ahh damn bro, no worries! Thanks for the kind words. I'd honestly wait because I suspect they will making rebirth versions, but they won't be put up for pre-order for a bit. Then, you wait about 2 years for release. But yeah, if you need them sooner, ebay :(
