This right here is when Yuri's fruits of labor of covering the same demo when less info was available back then, finally pay off! The Yuriofwind nostalgia is real!

Most people just focus on the newly discovered unused Pokemon, so it's really neat to hear about how the actual game world was constructed at this point in development.

I may or may not have skipped to the end just to hear you sing, and I gotta say, I was actually really impressed! As someone who's been singing my entire life, your range is rather impressive and your voice control is outstanding. On top of that, you sounded good in general. Love you, Yuri, and I hope to see more amazing content of yours in the future. (By the way, hearing you happy made my fucking day). ❤

I think one thing you may have forgotten was that Kanto being included in it's (almost) entirety in the final releases of the game was due to programming wizardry by the late Iwata. Originally space limitation was the reason why they were going to make Kanto just a single city as a bit of a throwback, but Iwata ended up assisting Game Freak in order to massively compress the game so that they could fit almost all of Kanto in addition to Johto. This can be found with a short bit of digging online. Great video though! I've been waiting for you to cover it for a while.

Theory: Chikorita's line was originally different earlier in development and they didn't have time to redesign Chikorita's evolution before the demo came out. Well, that or they had a hard time coming up with a mid-stage version of it.

Silent Hill is much less terrifying than I thought. (Fantastic singing btw)

"Buildings stacked on top of each other, and clones of yourself" as well as other tile glitches and 9's everywhere, is a result of you entering the area without loading it properly. Another area is still loaded while you're going out of bounds to get somewhere else. It's fixed by entering the area the way you're intended. Going in and out of a building is the easiest way. Though for some reason, a bunch of tall grass only works if you load the area wrong, via other areas.

Mr. The Endslate. I think I remember the document that the leakers made mentioned that baby Doduo was actually technically three Pokemon. Each one having one head, but they huddle together in a nest in order to mimic the older Dodrio (as youngsters tend to do in real life, mimicking their elders) Also that Kuribo looking dude, apparently the "real" Pokemon is inside that furball wearing it like a suit. It's real eyes being In the "mouth"

The tilesets being glitched are because you bypassed the gate houses with walk-through-walls. They're supposed to change the tileset so that the maps display correctly, but when you bypass them, it doesn't happen like it should.

Slowbro's tail (Turbin?) would have latched onto Slowpoke instead of shelder.

I love stuff like this, and these beta Pokemon are a gold mine. I'm a bit sad that some of them didn't make it in, like baby Meowth and the Tangela evolutions. Some I definitely like more than the final designs, like Lickutung and Octillary.

In my opinion, an evolved Ditto would have a huge potential. What if it made the copy Pokémon have stronger moves, or maybe even evolved, dealing more damage? Maybe it even could have changed the type? Idk, but seems like a very interesting idea.

i think the Slowbro's tail thing is meant ti be a new evolutionary line all together that may have been find by fishing the lake in or near Slowpoke Well

you know, i'd love a plotline in a pokémon game about evil numbers lead by an Imposter Oak, and Giovanni, and chasing them to Silent Hill. then you fight the fake oak and discover giovannis cloning machine, and go to towns named after other regions.
