The toaster was a reflection of Wanda's traumatic memory from the Stark bomb that ended her family. "Forget the past, this is your future." Plus the red flashing light was directly from her memory, and the sounds too.

Given how some people complained about the first 2 or 3 episodes back when the show aired, I'm surprised how open were these reactors to the old sitcom format and despite being a bit confused (which we all were a bit) actually enjoyed the episode for what it was, watching it again myself, I got to say, it's better than I remember..

Did you notice that as mrs. Hart is watching her husband almost die she says “stop it” repeatedly. When Wanda first sees what they are doing to vision at sword she says the same thing repeatedly. This show beautifully expresses trauma.

the girl who said Mrs Hart reminded her of the grandma from get out was so right like you see it a lot that thing of the person within crying and trying but failing to escape. SPOILERS you kind of even see it in Agatha at the end of the show when Wanda turns her back into a sitcom character

No, he confirmed that it was SUPPOSED to be Dr strange but they scrapped that idea but decided to still keep the commericals in with them having nothing to do with Dr strange
