2:40 the box is when you buy the mini version of the cube. You put it in the docking box and the smaller cube fits in there

The base only comes with the Mini UI. That's the one I have and I absolutly LOVE it!

I tested it, hexagonal magnets are weaker. I.e. adding them makes turning less resistant and reduces auto aim.

I have already bought the gan 12 ui from scs, but keep in mind I turn about 5 tps but the cube is uncontrollable for me without weight 5 and it feels way different than the normal gan 12 so don't be mislead by the name

Don't mislead people! GAN12ui does not have Maglev, its GES Pro+ with Springs! Also you don't get how to properly use center travel adjustment tool and do it completely wrong misleading people. You can't adjust center travel by turning nut like this, you should fold adjustment tool before, and then turn nut with inner tool part while holding it with outer tool part, just RTFM!
