for everyone watching this, i advise that you don't use pliers it is really unnecessary to use them just to pull out the nuts, you could also damage the nuts. Instead you should carefully pull the opposite sides of the cube so that it just pops out (put your finger over the nut so it doesn't fly out) also don't pull too hard because all the pieces will go flying everywhere as well. i hope this helped :)

After I put the number to 0 I just grab the top of the cube( and pull it and the nuts would pop out but didn't break the cube

Cool. Didn’t know the Monster Go and Gan 354M v2 uses the same GES nut system. Swapping out those purple ones for yellow ones made my 354M v2 much more controllable. Unfortunately, now my Monster Go is almost unusable.

For some reason when I switch the blue nuts out for the purple, it’s really tight and I don’t know why. I just wanted it fast but it’s just tighter than the blue ges. Is it just me? It also makes a clicky noise when I change the nuts.

The cheaper lite version doesn't come with spares, only the regular version. Also buy your cubes from a cube store not Amazon! Support your local store 🙌

Honestly don't waste your time with set up if you're new! Just solve and this stuff can be important later when you are like sub 30 :) I used mine on the out of the box tensions for ages and loved it

I main the 356M and use the standard blue nuts so I like them but each to their own 🤷♀️

They represent the different distances from the core in mm I think 🙌

.6 is a smaller distance so tighter, .8 is a longer distance so looser

Ive tried changing it to yellow, however whenever I turn it really quickly, it feels unstable.

@@endether7815 different lube with different settings can affect how the cube performs. Also keeping the cube clean and cared for can make it feel how you want to

Honestly it could just be getting old, those plastic GES parts don't last forever 🤷♀️ But yeah try a clean and a heavy lube like 50k

bro idk what i did, the ges nuts and the caps were like really loose and not going in place properly, then the entire cube just fell apart and some of the ges nuts fell off idk what i did bruh

Obvious answer is you had the GES nuts on the “open/off” setting instead of the 0.6 or 0.8mm settings. Keep trying 🙌
