Ganaraska Trail - Queen Elizabeth Wildlands 2 Hike From Devil's Lake To Black River Road

2 жыл бұрынThis Easter weekend my girlfriend and I decided to tackle a hike that's been on my bucket list for a few years. The hike from Devil's Lake to Black River Road crosses the entire Queen Elizabeth Wildlands Park from East to West. This trail is not well travelled or well documented through the middle section and really gives you the feeling of being alone in the untouched wilderness.

It’s a good trail. The middle was a bit boring but the beginning and end were great! Hope you enjoy it!

Thanks for sharing! That's a trail I'll have to check out sometime. Have heard about it but had not previously looked it up. Will definitely be seeking out some info about it with an eye to either a day trip or maybe an overnighter. Cheers!

very nice, guessing you parked a vehicle at each end? I solo hike a lot and thats always been my issue with doing the entire trail

Sort of, my parents live a ten minute drive away from the Victoria falls side. So my mom picked us up at that end when we finished. I remember that struggle, that’s what I used to go through before I found a couple solid tripping companions that were willing to do the drives when you plan a point to point.

Took us a little over two days(a few hours on the third day). It could be done in two but we started a little later on the first day.
