@@arderon5 Witch-King of Angmar was a man capable of sending snow and ice avalanches far away and at least stand his ground against Gandalf the White, altough i think mouth of sauron most likely is similar to grima instead of witch king. The point is there is magic in the hands of evil, and mouth of sauron is not an exception, if he was worthless sauron would not have appointed him.

Figuratively speaking, all of the heroes of Mordor are possessed of a foul strength not too unlike that of Gandalf's power. Just in reverse obviously. Or in the very least the Witch King most certainly possesses a power similar to it.

@@edddoubled3534 No, not really. Gandalf is a Maiar, a divine being and in fact the same type of being as Sauron. He is more powerful than anyone on middle earth except for Sauron. He's even more powerful than the elves, many of whom can take on the Nazul.

In lore Gandalf is only one mage who can face sauren in his full form.

Because Mordor has rather mediocre heroes in comparision to factions that have Man, Dwarven, and Elvish heroes. As it was stated that the Black Numenoreans made sorcerous cults for Morgoth, and the Mouth of Sauron is a Black Numenorean, they likely expanded his storyline to either or both encompass the Numenorean cultists, or as a being that has manifestation of Sauron's powers.

well, Mordor has powerfull heroes like all the nazguls (I mean witch King is a monster in this mod) but why is he considered to be more powerfull than the basic nazgul?

To add a sorcerous element to Mordor, most likely. With the Istari and the Elves giving other factions elements of this, it's likely their way of fluffing up Mordor which would contain some Evil men, who have been corrupted in hubris, but was not reflected in their otherwise martial armies and heroes.

I have read the books and I am sure that what I say make quite sense! Could you elaborate your thoughts?

Ok I'll elaborate, Gandalf THE GREY already faced the WK and all eight other nazgul at Weathertop and fought them off. He retreated to Rivendell the next morning. Gandalf is a Maia that is of the same race as Sauron, Gandalf the White is far more powerful than Gandalf the Grey--as shown, Gandalf the White beat Saruman (who could hold off all nine according to Gandalf in the Two Towers), he wrestled with Sauron in magic to protect Frodo at Amon Hen, Gandalf states he is the most dangerous being outside of Sauron himself, Gandalf is a master of fire and lightning, something nazgul fear is light and fire, and lastly, everyone says that WK was upgraded by Sauron, well Gandalf was upgraded by the Valar/Eru. So how would Gandalf have a problem with the WK after everything I just stated from the books? It is no contest because there trial had already taken place, also I didn't even go into how Gandalf has better weapons and equipment than the WK. This is why I said you haven't read the books, if you had you would understand that this has been concluded many times over and Gandalf would have no trouble with anyone in middle earth one on one outside of Sauron himself.

First of all, when Denethor tried to tease Gandalf about WK, Gandalf himself said that maybe is on the same power! Nazguls away from Sauron's power (like Amon Soul) are prety much useless against a person that doesn't fear them! Minas Tirith is on Mordor's doorsteps and Sauron was more powerfull during the battle of Pelenor fields than he was one year earlier, cause the One Ring was almost at his fingers! The fact that Gandalf is a Maia tells many things but not the full picture! During the first age a couple of Balrogs were slain by Feanor's hands, Gothmog was slain by Ecthelion, Glorfindel slain a Balrog and Fingolfin was powerful enough to wound permanently Morgoth himself! During the secong age Gil'Galad, Elendil, Isildur and Anarion defeated Sauron holding the One Ring! Pretty much Maia or Vala status is not enough to hold mere elves and humans to kill or wound you! During the battle of Pelenor WK was almost 5000 years old, which means that he knew pretty well the boundaries of his might and obviously Gandalf's as well! And he chose to attack heads forward to Gandalf only to hold back when the Sun has risen!(It is stated night gives strength to Nazguls) Saruman and Gandalf the White held the same strength! Saruman was defeated because Valar and Eru had taken his powers away! Gandalf said that he is Saruman or to be more precise what Saruman should have been! The text that say Saruman could have defeated all of Nazgul is unknown to me! Maybe you are talking about the passage that Gandalf say that Saruman could have abducted one of the Nine to save himself from Sauron's wrath! WK was not a mere human! WK was a Numenorian wizard holding the most powerful ring among those Men and Dwarves held! He managed to defeat the Kingdom of Arnor and almost exterminate all of the Dunedain! He ruined Osgiliath, he tranformed Minas Ithil to Minas Morgul, he haunted the tombs of the Arnorian kings with Burrow Wights and came one step before to destroy the rest of humanity! From all the above facts I believe that the outcome from a battle between those two may be not so obvious! Sorry for bad English!
