I have been doing transcendental meditation since 1977 and have some Gandharva Veda C.Ds, including this one. How lovely it is to see this precious material being made available to everyone on KZfaq!

yay its on here!!!!! so excited I love Maharishi Gandharva Veeda. Hearing it live is something else! I tell you what. Jai Guru Dev for the Age of Enlightenment! wish I had one o\f those Gandharva ved boxes that play constantly in the backgrpound. The feeling of it soo natural its super. So, I gues you could call it Supernatural Music.

What is the difference between the morning and evening melody? I do not see any difference between them!

Ragas are composed for certain times of the day. If it is a morning Raga, then you should listen to it in the morning because it enlivens those qualities in nature and in your physiology. Likewise, an evening Raga should be listened to in the evening (this one seems to be for midnight) because it reflects the aspects of Natural Law that are in tune with the natural tendency to go to sleep and relax. I hope this helps:). Usually, the CD cover will tell you when to listen to the Raga.
