@bing chilling nekroz, domain monarchs, pepe for their 2 weeks are some 2015-16 decks that won like this, and most decks still wanted to go 1st And even now, dice rolls don't actually decide much, that was mostly during 2017-18

It was go first wins, obvious 50/50. Don't know why people thought they were so far apart in power, they archieve victory by different means but for both decks first = win.

i think drytron has mor chances even going second, only because more handtraps on main. Also gandora bricks more, so there is that

Drytron is more consistent and can sometimes orange light/maxx gandora if they don't open good whereas gandora cant

In matchups like this I really feel like one of these decks should have to break serve to move on. It's not that exciting when you basically know that one of them is probably above 85% to win the set because they happened to go first.

@@hyperDarklord13 Because I REALLY wanted GX FTK to win the whole CBC tournament. It's such a unique deck. Don't get me wrong, I love Drytrons, but I just don't think it's fair that GX FTK got sacked out by a NOPT Herald that just happened to have 4+ negates. Ultimateness is literally Apo on crack.

That game 2 was certainly the game of all time. Was hoping gandora won just because it’s so funny seeing it make Azathot into Halq and knowing the game is over, but the Drytron player earned it for playing around the board breakers so well

Yeah Drytron player would've never known to only play 2 monsters. Probably still ends up the same results, but would be nice.

Wow. The player who went first won every game. What a shock..... Yeah. Pretty much expected this given what these decks try to do. Chaos 3-2 in the next match. The sheer power of Chaos has gotten it through a lot and I think it will get it through this.

Definitely a 50/50 match because there was no imperm in drytron deck list. Imperm is truly the key to stop the ftk.

Lol at 5:00 lithium goes on for like 30 seconds debating whether his ash blossom was used at the correct spot. I don't think he realized ash was negated by orange light.

@@Cool-kk2vl which is that was a good ftk or a hard one to pull off I remember an old one wasn't too good was a trap card that fusion summoned a monster that couldn't attack and was destroyed at the end phase I think it was with blazing phoenix or something

Lithium2300: "It is what it is." Me: "No, nigga. The coolest deck just lost because of a sackyass NOPT Herald." Also, GX FTK deserved to win. There's no other deck like it, and it's exciting to watch the deck go off. First Chaos, now GX FTK. I'm disgusted. I guess Drytrons wins this year's CBC. Wtf is Swordsoul really supposed to do? More then that this match was so late in game that the opponent already know who run a sphere mode. And it was not him

Gabdora always loses in 5 matches to deck which runs imperm. However, it's hard for that deck to lose to anything else if it goes first for the first match. Side decks should be custom because in tournament like this it's very possible bot for the best deck to win but a deck which has played with most similar opponents. Fortunately, Rocks run Imperm (which is why they won previous cup) so this is probably the end of Gandora

Im glad gandora x lost because as soon as you said ocg rulings for its effect.. i was turned off. Sometimes i wish the ocg had a different tourny from tcg. It bugs me. But i dont know what should be done to correct that.

After u had the chance for Sphere Mode the opponent u needed also photon Thrasher & either Destrudo or the PK Trap in order to do anything Sadly it was played out as thought without any suprises - whoever went 1st in the 1st match wins
