Күн бұрынGanga Expressway is an under-construction, 594 km (369 mi)- long, 6-lane (expandable to 8) wide greenfield expressway in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. It is being constructed in two phases. Phase-1 will connect Bijauli village on NH-334 in Meerut district with Judapur Dandu village on NH-19 in Prayagraj district, while Phase-2 will see the extension of both sides of the expressway: from Prayagraj to Ballia and from Meerut to Haridwar. The foundation stone of the expressway was laid by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 18 December 2021, in Shahjahanpur. The expressway is expected to be completed by December 2024.
It is being implemented by the Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA) on the (Design-Build-Finance-Operate-Transfer)DFBOT Model and will be constructed and maintained by IRB Infrastructure and Adani Enterprises The Uttar Pradesh Cabinet, led by Yogi Adityanath met at Prayagraj, the venue of the Kumbh Mela and cleared the decks to construct Ganga Expressway on 29 January 2019.

12-13 saal pehle jab 4lane highway bana tha mere ghar se bangalore tak to me bohot khush hua tha. Socha tha ki amrika jaisi road bani hai. Parr dheere dheere lagne laga ki amrika wale 10-12 lane wala highway banate hai to humara kyun sirf 4 lane rehta hai. Inhone phir vahi road ko poora under construction me laga di 6 saal pehle 6 lane aur intersection free banane ke liye, phir mujhe laga ki ye 10-12 lane kyun nahi banta, kam se kam pune mumbai expressway jaisi to bana lete jahan 2 wheeler allow nahi karte kyun ki highway pe 2 wheeler ki bohot accidents dekhi hai maine as they cannot match up the speeds of cars and trucks, phir mera iss soch se bura bhi laga tha ki hum 2 wheeler wale poor hote hai hum kahan jaaye. Now I had never thought ki hum bhi ye karr sakte hai poora green field wala. Expressway aur highway ka antar bhi pata chal gaya hai. Kudos ye humara pichle kahin saalon ki parishram hai jo ye ban rahi hai. Hats off to all Indians for this small achievement. Aur bohot baki hai karna.

@Kraken Thunder china ka bhi same hi hai maximum 6 lane ka hi jyada hai. 10-12 lane ka 1-2 hai bass. They have better engineered structures in complicated regions and to make signal free roads. And they have extensive network of expressways, imagine 200000 kms ka expressways.

आने वाले समय में सिर्फ एक्सप्रेसवे दिखेंगे खेत खलिहान तालाब पोखर बाग बगीचे नही। धन्य है ऐसा अंध विकास जो पुराने हाइवे रोड आदि हैं उन्हें तो दुरुस्त करते नही बस भूमि अधिकरण करके खेती किसानी चौपट करनी है आज सारी दुनिया इसी मकड़जाल में उलझी है।
