Great job on that axe hogan!! I hope everybody in BUCKIN BILLY RAY NATION is staying healthy and safe!!! We just got our 4th case in the county I live in here in Maine. Stay safe everybody. I have to stay safe because I’m high risk because my cancer treatments I had ruined my immune system. Nothing scares me buckin. But this has me a bit nervous I’m not going to lie. That’s why I feel so much better alone out in the woods!!!

HI Guys, George here. I just set a plumb pauling axe on a new (old) hickory handle. The handle is special to me because a friends Mom had it in her garage before she died and she was a sweet sweet soul of a Lady. So today, I was at my friends house, and mentioned I was looking for a good axe handle...he said " I've got one out in the shed..." The axe head is my favorite, from childhood up in Ohio. I set the head to the handle after a couple hours of careful scraping and fitting. The wedge set in fully before it stopped. this will be the axe that goes with me... where ever that is. Thanks guys for such a good video. Smiling, George.

She stacked the bags and I was bissi bucking with just a normal Fiskars axe (plastic handle). We live in Oslo, corona closed here also, but ttook a day trip to our cabin just because I am watching you and got inspired this morning. Keep posting - thanks

G'day Buckin n army, nice axe build by you and the river . Mr Wallaces axe is very nice a marriage of our two countries allies since WW1 , spotted gum E Maculata , very strong high impact resistance 970 kg per cubic meter @12% mc it's prized by apiarists, it was used as teeth in wooden cog wheels dredging harbours and was known to last up to twenty years . I have a plantation of them about that age 👍🇦🇺.

I am just a normal everyday guy here in Australia ,who make's model aircraft ( Static Display's ) from old pine pallet's or off cut's from Bunnings , a finished product takes me about 2 year's because like you I have an eye for Detail , & if i'm not satisfied with the end result , i start over till I am satisfied with the form & shape of the model !!

Greetings from No VT (USA) - Nice work Hogan, you are getting the Buckin "touch". I like a spoke shave for shaping and fine tuning with a medium rasp and sandpaper. My draw knife is out at my summer cabin workshop (with travel issues right now I can't retrieve it) so I have been using the spoke shave more recently have gotten pretty good as an axe handle shaper and shaver.....
