Gangrene: Dry, Wet and Gas Gangrene

Gangrene refers to the necrosis of tissue due to either a lack of blood flow or a serious bacterial infection. Gangrene commonly affects the extremities, including toes, fingers and limbs, but it can also occur in muscles and internal organs.

Are there any major differences between Gas Gangrene and Necrotizing Fasciitis, apart from the bacteria that cause them and the fact that one is predominately in the muscle and one predominately starts in the fascia?
